It is summer,
but in your heart, it is cool.
A sentence that perfectly describes this fragrance.
For the scent has no vibe, no edges, and no corners.
No rise, no fall.
Although summer fragrances don’t necessarily need those dramatic developments and leaps. But this one is simply there and stays that way. Yawning boredom, beware!
There is simply nothing!
For me, one of the most plastic summer scents I have ever encountered. By far, I am not a fan of such fresh fragrances, but the fact that it is not much more than a cleaning product from the drugstore is more than disappointing.
A lemon that reminds much more of a toilet cleaner (with the duck on the front) than of a ripe fruit.
Also, there are intrusive woody notes that appear more than indecent here, as they come across as overbearing. A faint note of musk is barely perceptible, along with a hint of damp sand. Rosemary and cypress can’t even be guessed, as it doesn’t come across as spicy at all.
Rather, as mentioned above, very plastic.
The sillage and longevity are unfortunately very low, although with this fragrance, it’s not really a loss. Even the bottle is kept simple and plain. That doesn’t make up for anything either.
For me, it is hardly imaginable that anyone really likes this scent, as it is so empty, so cold. That is also not exactly made for summer. A bit more texture and less artificiality would certainly have done it good.
Thus, the fragrance is a single, insignificant drop in the infinite sea.
