This Smells SO Creamy, Dreamy, & Deliciousssss.

I own the original Yara. Did I need this too? Actually, yes. I like this a lot. I didn't care for KAYALI YBM|81 because, even though it is very light, I CAN smell the coconut and it isn't for me. This isn't a one to one dupe and I'm not sure if it even was meant to be a dupe (but then again, strawberry and marshmallow...maybe...). Anyway, it's close to that. It's like YBM|81 and Yara had a baby. Personally, I wanted a lighter gourmand I could wear in warmer weather that lasts a while - and THIS is it!! The strawberry doesn't disappear after 30 minutes to an hour which is a pet peeve of mine. It's present and one of the first things you sniff on your skin and slightly in the trail you leave. It becomes this very creamy scent profile with small kiss from jasmine. I don't think I smell any orange blossom, to be honest. The party ends with a musky sweetness that just ties the whole composition together. It isn't too cloying at all and I will definitely wear this when it starts to feel warmer outside! For now I will just sniff it in the bottle when I feel like it :p Lowkey want to buy another marshmallow perfume to wear with this... I have Ansaam Gold, but I think the orange might clash... idk lol byeeee oxx

What Yara was SUPPOSED to smell like

I have the OG Yara, and liked it... But somehow always felt a little disappointed with it. It has some lacking qualities in the BODY of the fragrance. The OG smelled like a nice shampoo (I know you ladies remember the old Suave Strawberries and Cream shampoo and conditioner) from the 90's that was great for your hair to smell like...But it did not have the depth to be a scent you wanted on your body.

Yara Elixir, took that fragrance, and made it into what you would expect, if that scent became a Perfume. Yara elixir takes that flirty fun strawberried and cream smell, and adds dark depth with the black current. It adds a smooth, rich, syrupy thickness with the caramel, S'mores, and Amber. The musk in the base keeps the sweet syrupy nature of this fragrance still smelling fresh and clean, instead of turning into a headache inducing gourmand. I HIGHLY recommend getting this, if you tried the OG Yara, and felt somewhat disappointed by it. THIS elixir, will give you what the OG was missing for you.

Sunny Garden's Berries

I was never a lover of fruity fragrances, but something came over me I decided to give this one a go. Best decision I've made in a while. The scent opens with red, juicy berries, almost bursting with juice, gently wrapped in the black currant's green foilage. I can almost see the sun rays playing on the leaves of the bushes and and coaxing the aromas out of the fruit. This flavour stays on my skin for quite some time. Then comes a deepening or ripening of the black currant itself. It's zesty, softly spiced and slightly dusty note keeps balancing the red fruits' sweetness, preventing it from being too linear or cloying. To me - this is genius of a composition which is both joyful, sparkling and elegantly playful at the same time. After some more time chantilly cream gently swirls into the picture, wrapping itself around the berries, in a soft vanilla embrace, bringing another type of sweetness to the fore, and still without the overall scent being sickly or suffocating. The dessert is exquisite, with ripe magenta fruits and white cream with gold flakes playfully sparkling here and there. The dry down makes the whole concoction more powdery and creamy, amazingly maintaining all the previous notes, but in a subdued and whispering way. They are there to remind you what you've seen in the opening and to entice you back to the garden once again. When it morphs into the skin scent - we are left with a sweet red candy, gentle and delectable, constantly tempting to have some more, play some more and giving to the life and it's joys in a sun lit garden with juicy ripe berries and sun bunnies chasing each other across the peridot green leaves of the plants. Yara Elixir is indeed a masterpiece of a brilliantly thought through and incredibly balanced composition, flowing like a great piece of music, never losing it's rhythm, building up into a crescendo and then softly fading away.

My Strawberry Sandwich

This scent captivated me at the first sniff.
Super creamy, sweet, berry-like, and jammy.
It makes your mouth water.
Yara Elixir smells like a fluffy cream with a generous dollop of strawberry jam.
This is definitely one of the best scents of the year for me.
Lattafa has definitely created something wonderful with this.

Comfort Gourmand

This Yara is a blend of the regular and Candy. The non-synthetic strawberry scent with a slightly creamy-milky note is very lovely. A sweet fragrance that can also be worn in everyday life. The sillage is not overpowering, and the longevity on the skin is good, lasting 6-7 hours close to the skin.
