So creamy

I adore creamy iris fragrances, and Iris Palladium is the epitome of what I’d call “cream on cream.” It feels so rounded and soft, like wrapping yourself in a luxurious cashmere sweater or an elegant shawl.

The carrot seed blends beautifully with the creamy iris, adding depth and texture. The touch of bergamot brings just the right amount of acidity to keep the composition perfectly balanced. It’s refined, comforting, and effortlessly chic—a true delight for iris lovers.

not worth...

it opens in a sweet and all in all anonymous way, vanilla, without personality... it continues with a vaguely aromatic heart, accompanied again by this sweet amber and vanilla.. it closes with vanilla and amber. I smelled the real iris and I had it in my collection and this does not smell of iris, but of sweet amber vanilla, I don't know. it's not bad because it's not unpleasant, but it's absolutely not what you would expect, given the name.. do as you like.

Second cousin of Gris Charnel

Here we have a beautiful lavender, iris, and vanilla scent that personally reminds me of ck eternity aromatic essence or Gris Charnel. In comparison, however, this one feels very elegant and is not as intrusive as some others. A lovely fragrance that brings a touch of elegance while still being slightly feminine. Personally, I like to wear it when I don’t want to stand out too much.

- Top note: beautiful lavender and a hint of spiciness.
- Heart note: iris and something slightly floral.
- Base note: mostly, if not entirely, vanilla, with very subtle woodiness and sweetness.

- H|S: Longevity is good; after about 7 hours, I can still smell it under my shirt.
Sillage could be a bit better, but the first hour is good. I admit I only sprayed it twice.

- Bottle: as usual, a luxuriously looking, typical bottle from Les Eaux Primordiales.

- Price-performance: now acceptable.

Iris Palladium

I really find the scent very nice. It has a very pleasant smell and is very elegant. In my opinion, it smells a bit like peach and something elegant, but I can't say what it is. I don't find the bottle very appealing; it could have been better, but the quality of the bottle is not bad. However, it's really about the scent, and otherwise, I think it's really good, especially for the price. So it's definitely worth a recommendation for purchase.

Distant Relative of Gris Charnel and Widian Yasat

The Iris Palladium just arrived at my place.
I was full of anticipation and sprayed it on right away.
At first, I caught a fresh, herbal scent. But then!! Then a beautiful familiar fragrance greeted me, and I knew it had a strong resemblance to my signature scent, Widian Yasat.
Only distantly related, but the similarity is there.
The Iris Palladium still has its own scent, and it is significantly more herbal and spicy.
But I must say it is also quite woody.
I can immediately smell sandalwood.
A strong coriander note is also present.
So, you have to like the herbal, woody aspect.
