Unexpected but not satisfying either
This fragrance opens with a strong leather note, evoking the scent of a luxurious car interior or a leather bag filled with makeup products. There’s a distinct powdery quality reminiscent of Guerlain’s Meteorites, with violet becoming increasingly prominent as it develops.
Given the name, I expected a sandalwood-focused scent with a creamy, woody vibe similar to Piano Santal. Instead, the composition leans more into leather and powder, which caught me off guard. While it’s an interesting and bold interpretation, it doesn’t match what I usually look for in a sandalwood fragrance.
