From airy to heavy

I was pleasantly surprised by this airy rose. The opening is light and almost aquatic, reminiscent of Rose Saltifolia by Maison Crivelli, though without the salty note—just in the way the rose is used.

As it settles, however, it takes a turn into a more grounded and opulent territory, which isn’t quite to my taste. While the opening feels fresh and unique, the dry-down leans into a heavier style I typically avoid.

Une rose délicate

Je déteste la rose .. c'est une note qui me porte au coeur, j' ai reçu un échantillon suite a un achat ( pas mal d échantillons d ailleurs ce que j' ai bcp apprécié) ,je me suis donc dit, allez testes même si tu détestes la rose.
En effet ce n' est pas pour moi, on ne sera jamais en couple elle et moi ,cependant je dois dire qu ici elle ne me rebute pas tant que ça.
Elle se veut aérienne fraîche. Presque un bouton de rose par sa delicatesse apportée par le citron et la vanille je pense.
Je ne sens pas la framboise contrairement a saffron superfluide donc ici ça ne me gène pas.
C est donc sans doute un très beau parfum pour les amateurs de rose.

Delicate Powdery Rose Dream

Last week I received the Discovery Set from Les Eaux Primordiales.
A fragrance from the Supercritique collection enchanted me particularly... "Rose Supercritique | Les Eaux Primordiales" was love at first sniff.

The Supercritique collection contains fragrance materials from a CO2 extraction process, which allows for the extraction of the essential oil of a flower while preserving every molecule of its scent without altering its quality. At least that's what it says on the homepage... and right from the first test, I smell this delicate, natural, yet very authentic rose.
I am enchanted...

The opening starts with a pleasant citrus (bergamot), a bit of acidity (green apple), and a very fresh, clear, and bright rose + zesty fruity blackcurrant.
The spices (myrrh and cardamom) are very quiet and subtle.
Then the fragrance quickly becomes very powdery and dry due to the incense. This powdery, bright incense-rose lingers for a long time, and in the drydown, a delicate vanilla sweetness comes through.
For me, "Rose Supercritique | Les Eaux Primordiales" is therefore more of a feminine scent, but of course, anyone can wear it.

The fragrance is beautiful and, in my opinion, deserves much more attention.

Longevity and sillage are good.
The scent becomes relatively close to the skin quickly, but now and then, it can be perceived discreetly.

Anyone who likes natural, non-pungent roses should definitely test this fragrance!

"Rose Supercritique | Les Eaux Primordiales" is now on my wish list.
