By no means a "Velvet Paw", rather a grumpy old owl!
The second fragrance from Ms. W.'s "Lelong Quartet" (see Opening Night Cologne) has a slightly "uncomfortable" composition, but that is precisely what fascinates me. When reading the listed fragrance pyramid, I initially thought of a floral "Velvet Paw", but on the skin and in the nose, it reveals itself as quite a grumpy owl, closely related to the forest goblin, but even more austere and herbaceous-green.
At the edge of the forest, the gnarled pines stretch their twisted branches in all directions. In the meadow in front, sage and lavender grow. Only the soft crackling of the branches, where a large EAGLE OWL is perched, and its mysterious calling. From afar, a bright, austere floral scent reaches the nose and takes away some of the harshness of the woody-spicy perfume.
But the outer hardness is deceiving! Inside, there’s a good-natured grump! ;-))
