Herbe Puder-Perle
This wonderful fragrance could be worn well by both genders. And on all cool days of any season.
It lies in terms of scent impressions between Habit Rouge Eau de Toilette and Emeraude Eau de Cologne
Green and gold-red patterned and herb-powdery. A hint of a bygone yesterday and a glorified today in a bottle. No rose dramas, but this flower is clearly recognizable! Finest sandalwood.
Coriander personality and patchouli demeanor, the former clear and distinct, the latter subtle and earthy. A wonderful vintage pearl in a herb-woody-spicy powder manner. And so wonderfully old-fashioned! ;-))

Blowin' in the wind...
How many years can a mountain exist before it is washed to the sea?

Scirocco (in France Marin) is an onshore wind from North Africa that carries fine sand dust to Europe and is the precursor of a low-pressure area. Like our Föhn, the Scirocco is said to have an influence on people. It is supposed to increase jealousy but also erotic desires.

The latter can also be achieved by fragrances, and Sirocco by Lelong is one of them. The scent, which I would place in a category with Tabu, Emeraude, Habanita, etc., opens with a herbaceous-spicy note, with only slight citrus hints, rather aldehydic.

In the projection, a note very reminiscent of Emeraude by Coty becomes clearly evident, thanks to the good sillage, while Sirocco is simultaneously much gentler, which does not affect its erotic effect at all. Just as Tabu corresponds more to a fiery Spanish woman, Sirocco corresponds more to the seductive French woman. The play begins softly and delicately, but very distinctly, and steers towards an emotional climax.

The longevity of Sirocco is also not comparable to that of Emeraude or Tabu. Sirocco lasts a maximum of 12 hours, after which only a very, very light gourmand note remains on the skin.

Sirocco is a good alternative to Emeraude, which it resembles very closely, if Emeraude should be too intense.

The bottle - a round glass ball adorned with pearls in rows holds 120ml, which is not apparent at first glance. The golden label is attached to the long neck of the bottle. The screw cap on the spray bottle is also gold-colored.

I admit, I have become a big fan of Lucien Lelong fragrances...

Storm warning. Herbs and spices are flying through the air, lots of sandalwood, beautiful flowers, and clouds of musk. Go outside to sniff.

Floral musk with sandalwood powder. Time captured in old books. Plus a lovely warm chamomile tea.

Floral musky scent. Somehow neither here nor there. Rather boring. You can wear it. But why???

Musk-heavy scent that evokes animalistic associations for me. The sandalwood enhances the creaminess even more: too much.

For an EdC, it has quite a punch. Sweetly powdery, lots of sandalwood and heavy flowers. The name fits. It really blows through!

Green powder, floral delights, and a spicy-woody base. Wonderfully old-fashioned with a strong personality and a hint of Chypre. Great!
