Sexy bombshell of a tuberose.
I am generally not a lover of tuberose, but I've learned to love this flower from the creators at Masque Milano. This is the first tuberose I have ever fallen in love with.
In Luci ed Ombre the duet of tuberose-jasmine is unbelievable. You can recognize both notes and the balance between them is so fully realized, that neither flower dominates and the effect is perfect feminine elegance. The incense here is soft-spoken, more like a frame for the ginger in the opening. With time, the fragrance becomes cooler, darker, as the patchouli appears on the scene, followed by the oud. In Luci ed Ombre I have discovered the most beautiful white flowers and I really enjoyed the dawn to dusk journey in this perfume. I love so many perfumes from Masque that I couldn't decide what to buy, so in the end, I ended up with quite a few 10ml travel sets.
