Lovely composition
Opening is very interesting, smells like brine-y ocean salt, like you’d imagine a salt crusted boat to smell like. It’s almost as if you can smell the salt from the ocean via a breeze, travelled through the air. Not sure how to describe it honestly. It is somewhat harsh at the opening. As it got to the heart, the osmanthus and violet started coming through, made it smell less harsh, and more airy and floral. The fragrance smoothed out quite a lot as it went through the heart and into the base of the dry down, probably due to the ambergris note.
