Waterlove Man Mexx 2004 Eau de Toilette

I had this fragrance when I was 16. While all the cool guys at school had some Boss scent, I had this one. I only remember that it was very subtle and smelled like floral melon.
But the most important thing was that the girls loved this scent back then. I only received compliments for it.
Conclusion: Mission accomplished.

Today was another Cheapie Day - sometimes real discoveries come out of it, like JS Exte Man, but often the samples are only suitable as room sprays and seem made for a bad review. Such is the case with Mexx Waterlove Man - a so dull, watered-down Boss Bottled clone that it’s almost going in reverse! There’s a bit of Aventus pineapple in there too - or rather the synthetic afterbirth of it.

Fruity, sweet, watery - apple, melon, water flowers. Clearly unisex and not really recommendable for any gender. First of all, you already know this inside and out like Dinner For One, but secondly, it just isn’t that much fun anymore. Honestly, it’s no fun at all, which really dampens the enthusiasm for perfumes. There’s hardly any base to speak of, maybe a bit of peach. Overall, a watery-fruity scent that hardly fits its clearly aquatic name. A fruity-boring would be more appropriate.

Bottle: well... suitable for passing by.
Sillage: was there something?
Longevity: no, there was nothing! (2-3 hours)

This perfume is less Mexx and more Maxx - and maximally bad. I really wonder who buys this and why such dull scents are sprouting like mushrooms from the drugstore floor...
