Airy Blend, Doesn't Know What It Wants to Be
Beautiful opening with bright, quite neutral frankincense, underscored by delicate-sweet green notes in coriander and a slight spiciness, it has a very floating, airy body, like a light cloud over the skin.
This very light volume, without any real backbone, remains in the heart. Greenish rose approaches the frankincense very gently, bright woods far in the background, a slightly balsamic note emerges, everything not quite graspable and rather restrained for a frankincense scent.
In the dry down, a rather gentle, quiet cistus rose joins in, slightly grassy, the bright woods linger with it for a while, but not for too long.
Overall, just a somewhat unimpressive, delicate frankincense scent. Not bad, but somehow "plain" and this does not refer to the also missing power, but rather to the lack of characteristics that make it interesting or stand out. The opening was definitely the most interesting part and saves it a 7 for me.
