Perfect
I recently tried this perfume from Min New York, and I liked it very much. The opening is bright and zesty with a burst of lime and pink pepper, giving it an energetic, fresh start. As it settles, the cardamom adds a warm, spicy depth, while the galbanum introduces a slightly herbal, green note that balances the citrus perfectly. It is a dynamic scent that feels both refreshing and sophisticated. I've been wearing it constantly. It is a great choice for anyone who loves a lively yet complex fragrance that stands out without being overpowering. As a perfume connoisseur, I truly appreciate the attention to detail!

Classy perfume!
It offers an intriguing blend of dark and vibrant notes. The opening hints of spice and fruit are captivating, but they can feel overpowering initially. As it settles, the heart reveals a unique complexity. While its bold choice for adventurous souls, its intensity might not suit everyone.

It definitely leaves a lasting impression, but it may overwhelm those who favor lighter fragrances.

Balanced and Well-Tuned Oriental Scent
Oh yes, I dig this. Exactly my kind of entry, spicy, slightly sweet, but also not too typically oriental, noticeable influences though. Intense cardamom-lime combo, very green cardamom and the lime very dry, more like oils and extracts, no spritziness or acidity at all. The pepper remains subtle in the background, giving a tiny spice kick towards the end, the galbanum adds a touch of balsamic resinousness.
In the first 10-15 minutes, the lime even becomes slightly more present, perhaps a touch artificial, but still well-balanced.

I had to think for the first half hour about what it reminded me of, then it hit me like a ton of bricks: With this rather sweet lime and oriental direction, it strongly resembles a (but higher quality, at least for me) Montale scent, the lime not as artificial as in their lime fragrances, the oriental not as cloyingly sweet, both a good thing. ;)

The heart is very calm, playing with the remaining lime, very restrained, delicate rose, and also rather bright and elegant incense, nothing overloaded.

The same applies to the dry down and the base, bright woods, also rather light, soft leather and a delicate, sweet oud, patchouli with a rather subtle grassiness, sweet and rounded.

As already described above, this one is an improved and more elegant version or blend of some Montale's, a subtle, elegant oriental with almost everything one can expect from such a fragrance while never becoming too extreme: oud very gentle, but it is also not too sweet, even the rose is only delicately present yet still noticeable enough. A good all-rounder indeed. Does the "Voodoo" name fit? Not really.

Everything is Oud!
When I read the statements about this fragrance, I thought it could be something for me. Dark, woody, leathery with a hint of sweetness. Sounds interesting at first. The packaging and the name did the rest. I am also a victim of marketing. And I jumped at a good offer.
About the fragrance:
Right after spraying, you can tell you are dealing with an Oud scent. And it is indeed dark. You immediately notice a slight leather touch and especially chocolate. Dark, bitter chocolate. It wasn't listed, but that doesn't bother me at all. On the contrary.
You also immediately sense a freshness that seems to come from the geranium. This takes over after the top notes fade. The chocolate also recedes, leaving a light sweetness with the freshness that somewhat reminds me of soap. Accompanied by dark woods. Towards the base, something earthy, almost green, flits by from time to time (like fresh wood being broken), and I also strongly perceive the incense, which must have been present all along but was previously a quiet companion. This incense is probably the namesake. Voodoo.
What associations do you have with the word? Occultism, mystical, witchcraft, exotic, culture.
Voodoo would certainly not be the first thing that comes to mind when I smell this fragrance. But something like mystical, exotic, foreign, probably yes. However, this scent is absolutely wearable and pleasing, which in my opinion somehow contradicts itself but is also intriguing.
When you spray the fragrance on textiles, it actually smells like a gourmand the next day.
This was definitely a blind buy that was worth it.

Very green and woody, dry patchouli, gnarled oud. Uncompromising, smoky enveloping, rather dark incense. Exciting.

It has a strong resemblance to Magnetic Blend 8 by Initio, which I find just a bit better. Frankincense is dominant here, and you should like it.

The scent shows how to use oud, leather, and incense not in a flashy way, but in a fragrant manner. Balanced with flowers and wood.

Bright incense with soft leather + dark oud; the rose peeks out shyly. In the dry down, woodier. Tame oriental, more for HIM.

Another interchangeable rose-oud mix, quality is okay, boring like my statement.

Contoured incense wafts over saffron-like cardamom, leaving a subtle floral resinous sweetness.

Something's not right here. Gourmand... it's too gourmand for my taste. The pink incense with chocolatey patchouli and sweet...
