Too Much Scented Candle, Too Little Character
A delicate-sweet, silky opening. Elegant green fresh notes, cypress extremely soft, just a few drops of essential oil, not really fresh-natural, along with eucalyptus and mint which also seem rather waxy, as if one had lit a high-quality scented candle with these fresh notes and not as intensely herbaceous as they can sometimes come across in fragrances.
The sweetness has something neutral, slightly waxy, not sugary, a hint of honey and cinnamon play along.
Honestly, not much happens, although the heart reads very differently, the progression is extremely restrained, the nutmeg also rubbed into a waxy, light sweetness, cedarwood is quite present, but also finely polished, the tea somewhere in between, unfortunately does not really come through with its dryness due to the waxy-sweet veil.
The rock rose in the base and the dry down is still the most prominent, overall it almost gets a kind of young plum note, the patchouli adds a nice, almost incense-like, grassy quality.
Overall, I have to say, the scent was disappointing for me. It has something Zen-like, which I think it somewhat wants to convey as a concept, but it is too close to typical scented candle notes for me.
