A Sweet-Milky Fig, Barely Green
I was very curious about "Figue Amere." I bought the fragrance blind and was looking forward to a green-bitter scent, as many have described here. Well: the scent does not seem green to me at all, at least at the moment, in winter (it may be that my perception of the fragrance changes in summer - this happens to me with some scents.)
The bottle is beautiful and typical for Miller Harris.
What is the scent like?
The scent is interesting: a sweet-milky, half-ripe, ve-e-ery subtly herbaceous (or bitter) fig at the start. This milkiness is almost creamy. After a while, the scent becomes a bit stronger, more aromatic. At the end of the progression, surprisingly, a sweet-berry scent remains on the skin (I would not identify the scent as a ripe fig) - the base does not smell weak at all, but rather strong and distinct.
Interestingly, it lasts better on the skin than on the hair (with many fragrances, it’s the opposite) and lasts at least half a day, although without projecting significantly.
The scent is unisex, interesting, smells natural, and for fig lovers, it is a must (especially the beginning and the middle phase)
