Addictive

I get it, a very recommended fragrance and I get it, completely get it. Gotten a sample very recently and normally I wouldn't make up my mind after only 3 wears but its just so addictive. Anyone else ? Gorgeous sent. At first I though yeah its good but man o man the more I wear it the more I like it. And I can't stop thinking about it. I didn't think it would have a quite strong projection cause it stayed quite close to my skin or at least I thought. From time to time I got these beautifull wiffs dancing around me. Ofcourse when you are testing 2 or 3 or 4 fragrances at a time, yes I can go made or not make up my mind, lol I know, I kept getting beautiful wiffs and ofcourse not knowing from which fragrance it came... go figure. Then I tested this one alone and wow there it was. Beautiful balanced sweet florals, oh my goodness. Balance is key here to make me LOVE it and this sent unisex, yes men, this (at least to my nose) is unisex ! I am getting a full bottle... are you getting a sample ? Sure you are !

Defies Definition

This is full of notes I don’t normally appreciate (oud, heavy rose, patchouli) and yet this is so unexpectedly addictive that I can't stop smelling myself.

Scherzo is a little more traditional than I normally go for, and yet it's also sophisticated, warmly elegant, and a little intimate. There is rich complexity here but all of its elements are in perfect balance with each other.

This is the fragrance of a woman who is confident in her sensuality, but I would love to smell it on a man.

The opening is intense but not overpowering, projection is moderate but not overwhelming, and it has a light and beautiful floating sillage. You'll get a solid 6-8 hours of longevity.

I took it from my mom. But i gave her my C woody leather with oudh intense and she mixed it with X for women and she liked it.
Sherzo for me is an oud smell and it is one of my favourites. If I took a blind test, I should guess directly Sherzo.

Not my cup of tea

I really don't like this one at all. For me it has a fresh, bordering on aquatic, aftershave feel about it for the first couple of hours. In style but not smell it reminds me of Whitewater by Old Spice.

The first flurry was a familiar oud/rose combination which was swiftly joined by a touch of tangerine and vanilla, then oceans of fresh/aquatic notes took over the whole making a rather screechy, slightly bitter, watery scent that managed to be both thin but very present.

To me it smells overly synthetic (no idea of the make up, just my perception) with a strange sweet smell far away in the background.

My grandad used to grow wonderful peony flowers. They had a spicy sweet rose like scent (so far as I can remember) like a mix of rose and carnation but not very strong. Peony doesn't come to mind when I smell this scent, nor does narcissus. I don't get Davana which from my recollection, having once owned an essential oil of Davana, smelt a bit like boxes of Persian dried dates with a touch of a medicinal wood.

Overall, I don't gravitate towards fresh or aquatic scents with my preference being towards more woody, oak moss, and musky bases. Other than my not liking this one at all I don't think there is anything particularly wrong with it as it projected nicely, left a soft trail, didn't develop any unpleasant dirty notes, didn't fall apart on my skin, progressed smoothly from fresh to something somewhat dryer over the course of about three hours.

A Modern Rose Fragrance

A beautiful, oriental, very modern rose. I love the incense in it. It gives it a perfectly balanced everyday lightness, as well as a certain sexiness and depth in the evening.
For me, my signature scent.
