The Nasal Core
The pomegranate split open to the core - dry, almost astringent. The bite on that core is thus transferred in taste and effect from the mouth directly to the nose, in a subtle way - an unusually exciting opening.
The splitting of the pomegranate is extensively celebrated on the agarwood - the combination of this fruit with truly high-quality oud is new to me, also innovative. Resulting from this is the name of the perfume "Vermilion Wood":
glowing and crackling (but not smoky)
bulky and attractive at the same time
warm and dry (but not dusty)
Later, the green-black plum joins in, slightly sweet, even a hint creamy, but never sticky or sugary.
A red struck in wood, vehement (not radical), the vermilion tone bursting in all directions! High-quality and natural, for me also a very intimate scent. Haute couture in ingredients by Mona di Orio - a performance for one's own independent stage.
The ticket for this stage is unfortunately painfully expensive (however, after the relaunch of the label, the price will likely decrease, as the lacquered wooden box, which was apparently very costly to produce, will hopefully be omitted in the future!)
PS: alongside "Mellifera" and "Four Thieves," the most beautiful from the Alinea series.
