Hello there, sniffy critters! Welcome to my latest scent commentary. Today it's about a fragrance that most of you might know, even if you've probably never had it under your nose. I'm talking about Moschino "Fresh Couture", which should have caught your eye mainly because of its flacon design.
Everything here seems to have been totally (more or less clichéd) tailored to women: We have a perfume, it is for the ladies and in addition the bottle looks like a cleaning product. If I were hired to direct a commercial here, I'm sure I could create something wonderful with it... just imagine: Pretty, hot girls in great lingerie, who want to spray windows with the bottle, but then realize that the "detergent" smells better than expected and the ladies then start to spray each other giggling until their breasts, which are of course "wrapped" in very skimpy bras, glisten under the sun due to the not yet evaporated fragrance liquid. All this of course in slow motion and then... hmm... are you just grabbing out the pitchforks again (I always wanted to know where you furies got those things from anyway!...)? Bah, you guys can't be told anything without getting your claws out right away either, tsss, well then I'll just get to the scent description.
The fragrance:
The fragrance starts fresh with a delicious-looking tangerine, which smells citrusy but also sweet. After that, there are also sweet and slightly powdery-fruity raspberries to smell, combined with a tiny bit of rose and amber.
Quickly, the fragrance becomes more floral, but with the exception of the rose, I can not yet say what flowers I smell here, because it is simply a mix of flowers, although the rose also just begins to weaken again.
Later I smell the tangerines less, now it continues to smell sweet because of an amber-musk mix, but for the most part you can still smell floral scents. Since these also come across sweetly, I could probably perceive the osmanthus, otherwise the fragrance smells for me just "generally floral" with a very light, stuffy-dry touch.
So after about six hours, the stuffy touch becomes a little less (but still remains) and the fragrance begins to smell more warm-woody and slightly sweeter, although floral notes are still present. All in all, rather less spectacular.
The sillage and the durability:
The sillage is rather weak, as it will be barely smellable to others even after spraying it on, unless they are standing in close proximity. The durability is okay, I could smell him still after six hours on my skin, then, however, very very weakly radiating.
The flacon:
The bottle may be controversial, but I love that kind of thing. The bottle looks like a glass cleaner and I'm totally into bottles that just look completely different, because it's funny and above all brings a lot of variety. I just think it's a shame that the spray thing of the "cleaner" is just a dummy, it's a lid that you have to take off because underneath is the actual spray head. It would be totally great if you could spray yourself full with the bottle as with a cleaning agent! :D
Conclusion:
Soo,... so first of all I have to say that the bottle turned out much better and more original than the fragrance. Because the fragrance is a highly unspectacular 0815 fresh fragrance with an unfortunately slightly stuffy floral note, but you ladies probably could bother rather less. Otherwise, with the exception of the already nice top note is actually nothing in it, what you should have tested here necessarily times.
The fragrance is suitable for the summer as a harmless day and office fragrance, although he is not worth 25-40 euros to me now. If you find it significantly cheaper, yes then you could treat yourself to him times just because of the bottle, but otherwise there are much nicer fragrances.
As I said, the fragrance can probably score the most through the flacon and I bet flacon victims could quickly access here, he he. Everyone else, however, can rather save a test.
So, that's it again from me. Forgive my "advertising fantasies" with lingerie girls and have rather a relaxed and beautiful evening, until then :)
