Amazingly beautiful

I had the fortune to find lately a bottle of this one and I am literally bewitched!!! This is so lovely and nice, a lactonic with acquatic accents, lightly salted (not fresh) with a spectacular evolution...changing from creamy-amber-vanilla to a tumultuos whirling. Its very difficult to find something similar to can make a comparison somehow. Very hard to find nowadays, maybe few pcs on line with the price of a Xerjoff!!! A beautiful creation of the brilliant Olivier Pescheux. Sunset and Exult the most beautiful creations of Naomi Campbell brand, easily could be confused to niche creations of our days!!! ️Very happy to have this kind of beauty in my collection !!!

An Evening on One of Vladimir D.'s Yachts

Naomi C. lounges on the deck in a rose-colored XS bikini, watching the sunset. She wears killer stilettos and holds a raspberry-vanilla drink in her hand. It smells creamy like exclusive sunscreen. As she finishes sipping her drink, she finds a diamond the size of a pigeon egg in the glass. "If my wife ever decides to divorce me, I will marry you, Honey!" "Oh Darling, it's wonderful, thank youuu!" Naomi chirps. They both watch as the sun sinks into the sea. Happy ending. Almost.

One Naomi after the other

After I loved Naomagic so much and also found Exult quite good, I got Sunset as soon as it hit the market. Yes, it was good. But... I don't think it could keep up with its predecessors. I could wear it, I used it all up, it didn't scratch my throat and I didn't get a headache from it, yet it couldn't rise to the league of my favorite perfumes. It was lovely, it was sweet, feminine, a bit fruity (raspberry, watermelon), somewhat warm (sandalwood, vanilla). It somehow lacked that special something. A women's perfume without a wow effect.

I often dabble with the Campbell fragrances, as one or another is always good for a surprise.
So I lingered on Sunset - and the title is well chosen.
Here, a milky, misty sunrise is captured, gently waking the sleepy nose.
It approaches slowly and cautiously, gently knocking with bergamot and green leaves.
Then, when you open your eyes, the invigorating pepper tickles you awake.
The juicy watermelon shifts the morning mood to the Mediterranean - and you can dream a little again.
Grieg's Morning Mood spontaneously comes to mind, as it is also such a gentle, careful awakener.

The Last Rays of Sunshine ....

It’s summer, you’re sitting on the terrace, and the last rays of sunshine bathe the fields in the distance in a golden light. A scene straight out of a cheesy movie. One of those films you actually hate but can’t seem to turn off. That’s how “Sunset” feels. A strange love-hate relationship.

A creamy, powdery, and sweet scent that envelops its wearer to the point of excess. Possibly one of those fragrances that, if you’ve ever over-applied it, you never want to smell again in your life. Then those very last rays of sunshine, which once shone so beautifully golden and softly, suddenly bring beads of sweat to your forehead and make you want to disappear inside as quickly as possible, preferably under the shower, to get rid of this smell - and you can indeed get rid of it relatively well.

The longevity is okay. Sunset is certainly capable of lasting through the day, especially on clothing. However, after washing it off, absolutely nothing remains - and that’s a good thing. There’s nothing worse than not being able to get rid of a scent.

Sunset ... Its creaminess might be pleasant at first, but it quickly turns into horror if you’re as sensitive as I am. A small spritz should suffice and might be perfect for warm summer evenings and the cocktail party at the neighbors'.
