When the Fragrance Journey Began
I was maybe 14/15 years old and reached for Naomi's private scent in the drugstore. I can't say what possessed me to try this fragrance. In retrospect (what a wonderful word :D), however, I should be very grateful for it: it made me aware of a few fragrance notes that I have come to appreciate very much in perfumes since then. Peach and pear, for example. Well, in this particular case, it's vineyard peach and Asian pear, but the nose evolves with the type and number of perfumes tried and tested. My weakness for delicate floral notes and freesia also seems to stem from that time. I didn't repurchase the perfume when it was empty after years. Instead, I got "Nomadin absolu" (Nomade Absolu de Parfum). The beginning of my fragrance journey was made :)

On Cuddly Course
I really like the Campbells - just think of Naomagic!

So I spontaneously reach into the shelf at the supermarket to inform myself about Naomi's offerings.

Unfortunately, the last pick was disappointing, as Glam Rouge didn't appeal to me at all.
But Private has reconciled me with the brand again.
Here, the feisty Mrs. Campbell is exemplary on a cuddly course.
I can imagine this soft scent more in winter, but even today, in the heat, it caught my attention.

Aquatic mandarin and clear nashi pear provide a sweet transparency - but not for sweating.
Rose and freesia are floral and bright - and the vanilla adds a velvety and even sweeter touch.
I also detect a tasty caramel note that rounds off the flattering scent.

A little private seducer, with whom you can immediately be on familiar terms.

Naomi's Wutexzesse
.. could probably have been incorporated here.
Because Private presents itself very moody and explosive at the beginning.
The scent is almost fruitily piercing. Especially the peach is a major theme at the start.
Not sweet, delicate, but rather exuberant and roaring.
There are definitely prettier peach treasures out there, this one does not belong to that category.

Once the piercing peach scent retreats, it becomes slightly bitter, spicy, with the rose quickly making its presence known. It feels to me as if this rose is in a battle and has to defend itself against all the others to stay afloat. It comes roaring in, taking big strides, practically settling into a ready-made nest. But just as quickly as it arrives, it fades just as fast. As if it has wilted in a matter of minutes.

As the whole fiasco comes to an end, only a fine hint of bitter spice remains, where a delicate powdery layer then gently develops. Here it becomes significantly more interesting. Because all the screaming notes that didn’t come across as very high-quality have faded away, and from that moment on, it feels increasingly protective and cuddly. In my opinion, it fits evenings when you just want to relax and wear your comfy clothes. I wouldn’t want to wear it for any evening excesses, as it clearly lacks the strength to endure that.

Private thus develops into a lovely powdery scent that envelops you protectively. The bitterness fits well here, and a gentle undertone of earthy wood comes through as it pours its heart out. I find the combination of earthy wood and powder very successful, but unfortunately, unfortunately, this phase is of very short duration. Because it dissipates quite quickly, leaving everything looking pale and gray, with a milky facade of weak vanilla that briefly makes an appearance at the end. Monotonous and dull, it then slightly separates from me. The longevity is weak, at three and a half to four hours. The sillage is not noteworthy. But for a drugstore scent, it is solid.

I think 50% is a good rating. It's okay for an evening at home, but nothing more. I just find it a pity that the heart wasn’t developed more beautifully. However, for a drugstore scent, it’s a simple and solid presentation. But nothing more.

For me, it’s definitely too bland. I wouldn’t buy it, but rather invest the money in a nice decant of another fragrance.

I would gladly take this stroll more often
I don't really like Naomi, but I admit that I would probably buy her fragrances blindly, as I have always liked them, especially Naomagic.

Private is once again a truly successful new release, something really special for the drugstore.

I find it consistently sensual/cuddly without being the typical feel-good scent.

A creamy soft peach starts off here and makes peaches appealing to me again, as the gentle barely noticeable undertones of Nashi and mandarin create something truly enchanting; I was immediately captivated from the first sniff.

From the floral notes, I don't discern any individual ones, but rather a wonderful colorful bouquet, well-balanced without any noticeable dominance of one over the others, but truly a sensual blend... a lovely bouquet in the lightly tanned hand of a beautiful woman with shiny polished nails and delicate gold accessories on her fingers and wrist.

And just as round as it started, Naomi's private insight ends; musk and vanilla are clearly perceptible, warm and soft, rounded off with tonka bean. From beginning to end, everything is so incredibly harmonious that I can't help but love it.

There is so much mainstream in the drugstore; every star has their own direction, regardless of the price segment. But here, I find the recognizability consistently positive, and I can really envision a lasting friendship with further products.

Fruity sister of the original version. Positive surprise. For me, the most beautiful "star scent" at the moment.

As a fan of powdery scents, I bought this one blindly on a recommendation. It's subtle, powdery, and the freesia makes it lovely. The tip was okay.

Beautifully floral, powdery, and elegant. It could easily cost much more. An elegant all-rounder, not boring. Definitely worth a try!

Definitely reminds me of CK Euphoria and DKNY My NY, with a hint of JLow Glow as well.

A rose battle, of a swollen kind. A bit bitter.
Doesn't come across as refined or elegant at all.
Personally, it's way too bland and monotonous for me.

It has a pleasantly powdery, balanced, and classic scent without feeling old-fashioned. Amazing, but a good fragrance doesn't always have to be expensive.

Somehow, every gender sees something different here:
The man sees a bullet, a rocket, a gas cartridge....
