awsome
"Radiant Magnolia | Narciso Rodriguez is simply *awesome*! I have my absolute favorite Narciso fragrance (Pure Musc), but Radiant Magnolia could actually take the throne. The new fragrance from the Les Transparences Collection (what a great name, even if it doesn't quite match the scents - they're just too intense for that) is right up my street. After the first spray, I immediately had the image of a wooden bowl full of water with lemon slices, pieces of ginger and magnolia blossoms in my mind's eye. Fresh, tangy citrus aroma with a hefty dose of ginger (I love it!) and a good dose of magnolia - that's how this fragrance greets you. Hachz. So cheerful and friendly, so full of joie de vivre, it comes across from the very first moment.
Unfortunately, this great top note doesn't last too long. After a few minutes, the heart note unfolds. Sweet due to the magnolia, but at the same time green, slightly aquatic and tart - this gives the fragrance a very special twist. Rose tends to remain in the background, with the typical Narciso musk dominating instead. The heart note remains very present until the fragrance gradually fades out on the skin in a soft musky-woody way. Tonka bean is at most an accessory, and I can't detect osmanthus at all. Nevertheless, or perhaps precisely because of this, I think it's great. A fragrance that certainly comes into its own in spring or summer.
I would buy it immediately - if it weren't for the outrageous price. Unfortunately, the fragrance doesn't last long enough. But still - test it and feel it.
P.S.: Wild Tuberose, on the other hand, is unfortunately an absolute flop...
