As a Program: Restraint
The 'Golden Night' appears noble, ambered, warm, dry with hints of hay. The iris is discreet, yet still clearly recognizable as such. The honey is resinous, the sweetness rather restrained. The leather is more of an idea of it. The drydown is briefly soapy, ultimately smoky at the end. None of the ingredients seem to stand out. Yet they are still individually perceivable. It feels like a well-rounded composition.
An overall pleasant scent. If it weren't for the extremely restrained sillage.
This can be advantageous for certain situations. Either in a profession where olfactory restraint is appropriate or in close intimacy, while still wanting to smell relatively refined. I can only agree with the assessment that it is rather a transparent and quiet fragrance.
However, for my nose and its perception, this EdP unfortunately only provides a brief pleasure. Be it in terms of longevity or sillage. Ashes on my little nose. Those who are familiar with some niche perfumes may find the composition familiar or possibly interchangeable.
From the same house, Abaco Paris, the EdP Lumière Bronze is olfactorily more noticeable and follows a relatively similar path. However, it is not the same perfume.
