Fun, but just "meh"

This could have been a very nice perfume if only it hasn't been constructed on a poor quality, chemical base.

It's a nice, gourmandish, raspberry perfume with a tart, zesty aroma. Musk is also detectable.

I like the super-fun and fancy bottle.

Unfortunately, I find that this perfume tends to trigger my skin allergies. Still I enjoy it from time to time; and if you are looking for a fun bottle for your vanity, I'd recommend that you grab it on a bargain.

Handle with care

My almost father-in-law gifted me "Nina" years ago, with the note that I should wear THAT fragrance. Gladly, as I liked Nina.

A short time later, my father brought me "L'air du temps".

I could trust two elegant, experienced gentlemen.

And so the Ricci brand always remained positively in my memory.

So I couldn't pass by the pink little box.
Blindly bought and curiously unpacked at home.

But I only had the golden closure bead in my hand.
So I reached for the golden leaf garland that adorns the radiant bottle.
But I also discovered this separately - the bottle remained shy in its little house.

Handle with care - my husband called out to me.

Gently, I lifted the "treasure" that seemed to glow in its expressive pink in my hand.

I placed its adornment back on top - and already enjoyed the sight.

But the care I showed the bottle was returned by the fragrance.
It envelops me lovingly and delicately - surprisingly fresh and warm at the same time.
Unexcited - and very accommodating.

The fruits convey a light freshness - and the soft almond and creamy vanilla offer warm security.
The rose petals are velvety and nestle against the sandalwood.

The fragrance has nothing against my comfortable couch look and adapts willingly.
You can certainly wear it in fine attire, but La Tentation does not demand that.
It has a liberal mindset.

I wouldn't describe it as a direct sweet scent, as it is content with a delicate sweet float.

Tentation scores with sympathetic agreeability - without annoying obsequiousness.

Irresistible!!!

Good things come to those who wait.

I recently became aware of this fragrance. At first, I was enchanted by the beautiful bottle, then my mouth practically watered when I read the notes. But then... The shock! The dreaded word: LIMITED!!!
Released in 2014... Great, it will surely only be available at inflated prices or second-hand.

Far from it! At a sensational price from a well-known online giant, Nina Ricci's "La Tentation" in the 50ml apple bottle found its way to me. A blind purchase, mind you.

And... It was worth it! A gourmand, just to my taste!! Sweet, sugary, sticky, almondy - delicious!! Even my 'fragrance-neutral' boyfriend was drawn out of the living room after two test sprays: "What smells so good in here?"

The bright pink apple will fit nicely into my illustrious collection, and I can't wait to show it off at work tomorrow.

A Little Apple to Bite...or Rather a Macaron!

Yes, this is a fruity gourmand fragrance! Citrus, almond, and vanilla, very sweet of course.
Exactly what the brightly colored striking bottle (I naturally like that sort of thing!) promises! The bottle reminds me a bit of those apples coated in thick red sugar crust that used to be available at fairs (probably still are today). I always wanted one as a child. And then I didn't know how to eat them... My little mouth couldn't quite manage it... until my dad would always pull out his pocket knife.
No, there's no apple in here, it's just the visual impression of the bottle. The scent itself really does remind me more of those meringue-based macarons, which I love very much. Some suppliers have very refined flavor combinations, I once had one with rose. They are truly bite-worthy! However, they also come at a price if you want good quality...
Anyone who doesn’t want to smell like something potentially edible should steer clear of this perfume; for gourmand lovers, it is a recommended scent for summer.
