The 'Rose' That Isn't a Rose: A Luminous Fairytale of Pear and Nerol
The vibrant candy-pink bottle led me to imagine a sweet scent of raspberry and peony, but my expectations were pleasantly exceeded. The "rose" in "NINA ROSE" doesn't refer to the rose itself, but to the optimistic, positive energy of the French phrase "Vie en rose" (life in roses). After sipping the scent, I understood the intention.
The first scent to emerge is a cheerful, calming accord of pear and orange flower. This brightness gradually gives way to the clean, citrusy atmosphere of neroli. The gentle notes of orange flower and neroli, combined with the fluffy texture of pear, seem to evoke the "fairy tale world" theme of this series.
Why this vibrant bottle color? To be honest, I'm still not entirely convinced, but it's certainly so charming that I could easily buy a bottle. Just be warned, though: despite the name, it doesn't actually smell like roses!
