this is money better spent on therapy

This is a very horny perfume. But a sort of sad, lonely, horniness. It’s the drunk middle-aged lady at a concert or local gig, or festival, stumble-dancing alone. (I am middle-aged now, but in my memory, every incarnation of this woman always seems older than I will ever be.) It smells like what both partners might wear when they pack for their hedonism cruise in a last-ditch effort to save their relationship and they’re on the prowl for their unicorn. It’s a bit desperate and hopeless, like that last radiant burst of manic energy that you put into a thing that’s doomed to fail, so what the hell and why not. As to the actual fragrance, it’s a sticky stain on your sheets that if you dare get close enough to sniff, it smells of overripe raspberries, lychee syrup drizzled shaved ice, and a sickly sweet cola drink spiked with peppery patchouli bitters. Instead of spending your money on Angel Nova, I think it wise you invest in an extra session with your therapist.

Diva-only fragrance

This is a fragrance truly to be only worn by a diva. It’s misunderstood and misjudged. Some of its notes may be completely polarizing, but they come together to form a fruity woody perfume that is intoxicating. You seriously will draw so many heads wearing this. I personally feel it lasts all day, and leaves a scent trail for a long while. It’s one of those perfumes that you have to huff on, you just can’t get enough.

Exactly what the notes suggest: raspberry, lychee, and rose. Incredibly juicy and fruity, slightly effervescent, sweet but not overpoweringly so. Dries down slightly woodier than the opening, but retains the fruity sweetness throughout. Perfect for summer, and both lasts and projects well. So glad I finally got around to trying this one, a summer staple for sure!

Synthetic raspberry and cloying perfume

Like I have mentioned in my review of the Angel Nova Eau de Toilette , I bought the EdT by mistake when it was the EdP that I wanted. I finally got the chance to buy the bottle I wanted and when I first sprayed it... I was so disappointed. It's not how I remembered it and far from it. I don't know if it's my nose that has evolved or if the juice in the tester was different, but this... It's not what I wanted.

At first spray, there's this intense blast of cloying raspberries. Even the tart aspect of the raspberry note that I sometimes smell in other perfumes gets crushed by this sickly sweetness and this synthetic note that burned my nose. Lychee was non-existent and the damask rose appeared later, adding to the overall fruity sweetness (way too strong). There's a warm, woody aspect that comes on later, but does nothing to salvage this absolute wreck of a perfume.

I'm sad because I wanted to have a nice raspberry perfume in my collection and now I got this synthetic, cloying regret. It might be a good perfume for the younger crown but I guess I'm too old for it now.

J ai beaucoup de mal avec la note framboise mais je dois dire qu ici elle est pire que tout.je déteste ce parfum (pardon pour les fans) il m écoeuré a un point c est insoutenable
C est sucre ,tellement sucré,fleuri aussi...tout ce que je déteste.
Ma fille l.aime et je lui interdit de le mettre quand je suis là car vraiment il m insupporte.
