An intense violet fragrance
Yesterday I wore Ege to work. I didn't really stand out with it, the sillage was rather mediocre. The longevity, however, was okay at around 10 hours. In the end, I wasn't blown away by the fragrance experience, but if you like intense violet aromas, you could be happy here.
The top note starts fresh, aquatic, green and slightly citrusy with lots of violet leaves. The heart note remains greenish with lots of violet leaves. These are joined by basil, mint and a little cardamom. The "violet experience" also continues in the base. However, I could not detect the aromas of licorice or incense mentioned in the fragrance pyramid. Interestingly, a certain note reminded me of freshly harvested cucumbers from the garden.
In the end, I was not dissatisfied but not happy either. I would like to thank Niklas for the manufacturer's sample.
