herbal, spicy, musky
Spacious. Opens with a camphorous spice, very nose-clearing. Loads of vegetal white/grey musk. Papery, slightly grassy. Like an open field on an overcast autumn day. For me, the dates come later, as this dries down into a semi-sweet, semi-powdery musk. Just a hint of fruit, almost only a suggestion.
Castelli di Sabbia translates to Sand Castles. I get that--this is all about open, semi-arid spaces, dry textures, earthy softness.
I'll call this a musk scent. So if you like something clean, semi-bright like L'Artisan's Mure et Musc, you will likely enjoy Sabbia. Similar in tone, though this musk is a bit more vegetal and the fruit accord is more subtle. Gentle projection.
