The mulled wine job
Wolle and his men were once again guests in their run-down pub. They laughed, drank beer from the Ruhrpott and at some point hoisted Udo into a taxi, after he had already slept two hours drunk on the sanitary facilities. In addition, Totty was put into a taxi to the hospital, he had tried to create a cyclops face while playing billiards with some success. So far it was a normal evening. Suddenly Wool took his leave, it was just one o'clock in the morning.

"Boys," said Hajo, the landlord, "what's the matter with your boss? Again he's only staying till one o'clock? On two legs again? running?? Is this some kind of fast?"
"Oh, he must have his reasons. Maybe it's because of Ilse."
"Nenene, he smells lately also always so...like fresh from Christmas market after longer stay at the mulled wine stand. Doesn't he drink so much beer anymore?"
"But it's spring, where would he get that from? Don't worry, Hajo!"
"Well....represent me at the tap sometime, Hotte. But don't drink so much for nothing, you scoundrels!"

So Hajo followed Wolle, who suddenly didn't seem to stagger at all. Strangely straight and normal step Wolle moved forward. Was he...about...sober? Now Hajo was really worried. Wolle...the man was single-handedly paying Hajo's rent, that couldn't be. Was Wolle cheating on him? Suddenly, Wolle made his way towards an office complex, then stopped in front of a building. Stealthily he looked around, then darted inside. Hajo trailed behind, barely making it. Gently and at a distance he followed Wolle. Wolle went into an office and what Hajo saw there horrified him, the sheer horror ran through his limbs: lots of mulled wine tetrapaks from the DIY store. The 20 litre variety. Wolle filled some into glasses, the case was clear. Hajo and his beer were the discarded bride of Wolle, Wolle put the horns on the golden Ruhrpottbier, he cheated Hajo's pub. Crushed Hajo left the scene.

And so he did not see what Wolle did with the mulled wine. "The Covey and her ideas...a mulled wine scent with leather and spices is what she wants..."
So he mixed spicy cardamom with bracing citric, sweetened the scent with a touch of davana and rose water. Now the mulled wine seemed a bit sweet but at the same time strong, warming, conveying security.
Next he had to process the leather. He simply poured the mixture onto a scuffed leather jacket and added a few twigs. He had gathered those outside. Now the leather came through stronger, stronger and rougher. The wood seemed dry and brittle, could hardly absorb the mulled wine, which soaked into the leather. This now smelled darker, more wicked and profound.
Wool was satisfied, but something was missing...he looked around. Ah, the rice pudding with cinnamon! He didn't like the latter in it anyway. So he rounded off the wine with it and voila! Right from the start, the cinnamon gave the scent a rounder profile. He would call the scent dessert. No! Main course...no, that sounded stupid, main act! Yes, he would suggest that to the Covey.

When Wool came home, there were beer bottles shaped into a heart on his front doorstep. In the middle, a photo collage of things Wool was already financing through his beer consumption: rent, cars, college tuition, even two horses. Also, a handwritten note: "i forgive you!"
"What Hajo sends me such a thing? What the hell, I'll take one more!" Wool reached for the beer, opened it with his eye socket and drank.
"Yup! He's with me...." came from the bushes, whooping with joy.

Sex at Christmas
The addition of the name "The Main Act" as well as the comments and statements read here so far made me curious - that must have been a really cool (sorry) drop! The composition of the single notes did the rest. So I tested in my home office, where you can't offend anybody anyway.

The beginning with the top note is fierce: a huge cloud of incense and - right at the front - cinnamon dusts me. Two sprayers from a small tester, and I have to gasp for air. Holla, the forest fairy! But after only a few minutes the chaos subsides and Immortelle and Davana clearly set about drying out the scent. The whole thing is held together by the already mentioned frankincense and especially a note of cinnamon, which is very present throughout the whole fragrance. This note reminds me very much of Carner Barcelona's "Megalium", for me one of the best cinnamon scents of all. But where "Megalium" becomes warm and spicy, "Dev#2" remains somehow cool.

After half an hour, the scent becomes even icier, something herbaceous is spreading. I'm guessing cedar juniper, very distinctive. After an hour or so I even notice a cool mint note and the scent (and I would almost say the texture) of blown out candles. At this stage Dev#2 reminds me a little bit of "2 Man" by Comme des Garcons.

(At noon, so after about four hours of wearing, I go and buy some food. In the supermarket I lie by the bakery because it smells so delicious like cinnamon rolls. Or no, that's me, as I notice despite my mask. Ha!)

So far, so good-time. But I do miss a little the announced animalism. It sets in after about five hours, but remained very close, which I find very appropriate. It is such a very subtle smell of not quite clean skin, actually very pleasant. In general it's more of a fragrance that you wear for yourself, not something you can impress others with.

Through the impressions of cinnamon, incense and cooled candles "Dev#2" reminds me of the Advent season, but not with sweets and spiced tea, but less cuddly, rather strict.

So, if the sex is in a bottle, but then sex at Christmas - and this is a Christmas in lockdown, where you don't meet anyone else anyway.

"Dev#2" is a really good scent, and from Dr. Ellen Covey, who made the original "Bat" by Zoologist, one of the best scents ever, I expected nothing less. If I didn't already have "Megalium" in my collection, it would be a real buy.

Devilscent #2: The Main Act
A smokey, anamalic and sexy, sweet cinnamon fragrance that is great for wearing on cold Autumn and Winter nights. This is also the perfect fragrance to wear for those intimate moments.

This one has a strong scent and is not for everyone, so you might want to get the sample before purchasing the 60 ml bottle (the largest size for this fragrance).

Sillage: The fumes of Dev 2- The Main Act, will fill the room with its scent, so go easy on the number of sprays. One spray is great and two sprays is great but almost pushing it, in my opinion.

Longevity: Very, very long lasting (12-24 hours). You will easily smell this on your skin the next day.

Olympic Orchids Artisan Perfumes / DEV #2: The Main Act
Mmmm ... balm for my burned heart, smoked with incense and labdanum - skin, cinnamon-clove and spiced horns, hooves worn in civet, musk and castoreum, and an agaric tail.
Ladies and Gentlemen - it is beautiful, it is a unique work. My predecessors wrote a lot about it. There is POWER, THERE IS INCENSE ... A LOT OF INCENSE, SMOKE, LABDANUM and God or Devil knows what else is there. For sure I can feel what is above and the smoky, smoked plum, agar, leather, musk and spices.
The work is very palpable, beautiful and powerful. Durability over 12 hours. Personally, it reminds me of Vi Et Armis Beaufort.
And now I walk away in silence to contemplate in the haze of this main 'demonic' act.

Perfect scent for Halloween party
Please don’t take me wrong, it is very complex and beautiful fragrance. Definitely not for every day wear. Colder weather is perfect condition to open up this fragrance in full glory. Davana essential oils gives this scent dried fruits notes. Delicious. We used to go trick or treating at night around our neighborhood, and have party afterwards at our house. This year is everything changed, but we still dressed up for our party, plenty treats and perfect scent for this occasion is “Dev two. The main act”. I enjoyed every drop of it.

One of my favourites from the line, there is , at least to me, a black olive brine smell that is really unique and plays into the theme

A heavily spiced and slightly smoky Winter fragrance, kept in check by a warm animalic resinous-woody base. Nice cinnamon-clove combo!
