i blind-sniffed it and totally thought there is cherry in there. i assume the notes of lemon and tobacco blossom give off that pleasant cherry accord.
the good thing about it is that this fragrance is quite linear, which means that this hint of cherry stays for a very very long time - for me it's a win, as it is often hard to achieve with all those fruity scents that open up nice and juicy and then just turn into something barely noticeable within minutes.
while it's nice on it's own (albeit rather sweet), i just love to layer it with earl grey & cucumber from jo malone. it creates a concoction reminiscent of a fruity tea blend (dry, not steeped), or the smell of a tea store - just a half of it though, there is not enough depth and notes for it to be a full shop, but it's certainly enough to make me feel cozy. instant moodmaker, i kid you not.
when it comes to longevity, it might be the best out of all the saltworks' scents i've tried (men's discovery set), so i'm considering buying the 10ml bottle just for the purpose of layering
