Recently I was able to buy the now discontinued 'Signature Gold' from an auction house at a bargain price. It was a blind purchase I don't have to regret.
Signature Gold' begins discreetly fruity and spicy sweet. The bergamot is probably represented here with its juice and not by the shell. Cardamom and red pepper can also contribute to this fruitiness.
But the fruity note lasts only a few minutes, 'Signature Gold' becomes slightly spicy and sweet. I can clearly see the orange blossom, while the cinnamon can be smelled more in the background.
After a good hour, wood comes into its own more and more, the cinnamon withdraws completely and the orange blossom weakens somewhat. Instead, I can now smell nutmeg and tonka bean very clearly.
The mixture of wood, nutmeg, tonka bean and still sweet orange blossom now determines the further course of the fragrance until the end.
Signature Gold' is a fragrance that is characterized from the beginning by an intense sweet note, but never annoying. Because wood and spices are always a good counterpart to sweetening.
I would wear 'Signature Gold' especially in cold and cool temperatures.
I find the bottle quite appealing and the durability is a good eight hours, the charisma is rather reserved.
