Lady Million Empire Rabanne 2019

I dont know why fragrance brands follow that stupid trend=yuk, cheap, sweet?, bad quality patchouli. First Of all, I really enjoyed Lady million edp When I had. It was my highschool days mostly. It was fruity, luxurious, sweet, floral feminine thing. But... The flankers? I only like Lady Million lucky in them(Prive, Empire, Lucky). Lady Million doesnt need any more flanker, please paco rabanne... + That Empire writing is really irritating for fingers when you spray. Smell profile = patchouli in a bad way. I didnt smell any cherry plum?? , magnolia, osmanthus, cognac, orange blossom. Empire gives you overly synthetic feeling. I like flankers. But perfume world became crazy. They pop up everyday new day a new flanker. Thats exhausting. WHO CAN LİKE THİS? Armani İn Love with you freeze, Victor and Rolf Flowerbomb, Lancome la vie est belle leau de parfum, Azzaro Wanted Girl users lovers can like.

Today I hurried through Kstadt again, as my husband was my companion and he is unfamiliar with strolling.

But a new Lady Million display stopped me in my tracks.

"Do you have everything!" came a gruff voice from behind.

No! Not at all! This beautifully shaped pink and gold gem I do not have.

And the little sprayer made me pause.

The Lady genes are present, but there is a fine nuance that I do not yet know - but which pleases me very much.
Could it be the hint of cognac that pleasantly tingles on the skin in conjunction with the noble osmanthus?
Somehow this lady smells cheerfully tipsy.
But it is just a glimmer - a nuance - that attracts me precisely for that reason.

Patchouli joins in amiably and the vanilla is a sweet cushion.

This lady is carefree and playful and subsequently offers herself as a soft cuddly pillow on which one can dream without restraint.

She will be welcomed into the lady clique.

"My Empire, my rules," Number 45 also likes to say in a modified form. Dreams of world empires and princesses - fantasies are excellently catered to here by the brand Paco Rabanne from the house of Puig. The pink bottle has such a high trash factor that Barbie and Ken would definitely love to place it in their plastic palace's guest bathroom. It would also fit well with Heidi and her drummer.

Can we really still view all of this "culturally critically," though?
When a cerebral niche fragrance for regulars at art openings and true niche experts (of which I certainly do not count myself) costs 200 euros and is presented in a minimalist bottle made of recycled glass from Kosovo, no one bats an eye. On the contrary. Rare distribution, etc. If the content is also largely "natural," with ecologically grown roses from the Hindu Kush and jasmine from Idlib, guaranteed made without child labor, then "Eau des larmes d'un enfant abandonné à l'extrême" (let's call it that for simplicity) has a very good chance of being hyped up, very, very high.
Lady Million Empire does not need to perform such contortions. The name Lady Million is established and appeals to the masses, especially young women who constantly post their latest acquisitions in fashion and cosmetics and would love to be "influencers," even if in real life it's just their clique they reach with their daily, multiple posts.

The perfume market is fiercely competitive, with countless new launches waiting monthly, almost daily, for customers who want to gain a sense of social belonging by purchasing a fragrance recognized by the general public.
Acquiring a scent like Lady Million Empire elevates one's status within a certain social group.
Moreover, the people at Puig are really, really clever. They always have their noses on the pulse of the times through their constant and expensive market research, checking what is trending and what is not.
Because Lady Million Empire does not smell bad at all.
On the contrary. It is a super-modern perfume, composed according to all the rules of the market, with a rather exciting scent progression. The top note is sophisticated scent chemistry of the highest order. Fresh, exuberant, intriguing. Not at all squeaky or floral-fruity like other blockbusters, but pleasant and uplifting like a cocktail of cognac and pink champagne. Sounds very strange, but it works here. A certain dessert-like vanilla gourmet note then dominates the scent as it develops. Apparently, an artificial patchouli plays the main role here with warm but not too dark facets. The incorporated osmanthus feels luxurious (1000 by Patou contains a lot of osmanthus!) and not at all trashy.
I must admit that I personally would not wear Lady Empire, as I am a boring classic fan who prefers to envelop myself in Mitsouko rather than the latest Paco Rabanne. Although I would like to mention here that back in the famous 80s, when supposedly all perfumes were better and every second one was a masterpiece, I found my absolute favorite for life, namely a fragrance by Paco Rabanne. It is called "La Nuit" and always gives me butterflies. It was or is a dark rose chypre with an allegedly "animalic touch." It was released in 1985 and was not a particular bestseller...

Lady Million and its male counterpart have been Paco Rabanne's cash cows for years. Apparently, the company has hit a nerve here and caters to its mostly younger clientele with cleverly composed perfumes.
The new Lady Million Empire could help Puig further expand its market power. Given that it is a European company, I am not too sad about that.
We live in this capitalist system and have a significant impact with our purchasing decisions. Suddenly, a simple perfume purchase becomes a far-reaching act that says a lot about my personality and my outlook on life.
We buy complex industrial products with scents, and we should often reflect on their connections to our lives on various levels, not just on the purely olfactory one.
So. Enough rambling... I want to take the opportunity to finally say it:
Folks, this stuff smells pretty damn good.

I am not a hardcore fan of PR fragrances; some I like very much (Calandre, Ultraviolett, Black XS), while others do not agree with my skin chemistry (Olympea), and the LM Million line is nice but not necessarily my style. I admit that the bottle and the advertising of LM Empire attracted me a bit, but I thought it would probably be just another sweet generic scent. Then about 2 weeks ago, I received a sample, and the first spray... well, fresh, floral, becoming sweet, okay nice but like all new fragrances. At some point, I kept noticing a light but extremely pleasant note on me. Is that...? Could it be? Yes, it can!

The scent starts off fresh and floral for me. Relatively quickly, the sweetness comes in and stays for a while. But it’s not a typical sweet note like LVEB etc., rather a floral, pleasant soft sweetness. After about half an hour, it becomes creamier; I don’t perceive the cognac prominently, it highlights the other notes and creates an extremely attractive sweet note in conjunction with the flowers and vanilla without overwhelming or annoying the environment. The base lasts well over half a day and is a harmonious mixture of all notes plus a fresh note that joins in after the heart note and is only occasionally perceived by me. What note it is, I don’t care at the moment because the fragrance has already captured me, and that means something to me! The only small downside is the longevity; I would wish for a bit more there.

Now to the bottle: yes, it looks a bit trashy, but this pink is so beautiful :-) and also a bit funky, which fits the campaign. Oh yes, and the saying "my Empire, my Rules" is basically a mantra of mine... smile

Conclusion: LM Empire is on my skin a modern floral-sweet sexy fragrance with that certain something and almost wearable everywhere. It is definitely worth a test!
