Pelé was back; Wolle's half-brother, whose real name was Klaus-Dieter, had disappeared from the scene after the last scandal, but was now omnipresent again. Soon he would be, anyway. His goal: nothing less than to push Wolle from the throne of the rockers and there had to be a sophisticated plan. He worked together with the new police chief, the old one had moved to Bavaria. They met secretly in bars and establishments where Wolle and his men were hardly to be found: vegetarian restaurants, milk bars, generally businesses around the subject of body care. "So, Pelé, what's the deal? How do we knock Wool off his throne and install you there? After all, it has to be something we can use to capture his drunken companions as well. But beware: just for a case of beer they won't betray their leader with cirrhosis of the liver."
"It's difficult too, after all, Wool works for a brewery as a tester after he retired from perfume back in the day. But I have an idea on how to bring him down and put him out of business for a long time, just let me do it..." At this, Pelé chuckled like a cross between a schoolgirl and an 80 year old chain smoker.
A few days later, Wool found a letter in his mailbox. "You've won! Beer! And perfume! Come tomorrow to the old oak tree in the park by the trash can where you usually lie drunk next to it!"
"Great, I'm glad!" said Wolle, scratching his butt with pleasure.
The next day the troupe then found themselves in the park, a flask of Nimitr and plenty of beer had been deposited at the meeting point as arranged. Quickly the beers were emptied, Nimitr sprayed on and one wanted afterwards to the clubhouse. Actually. But the beer was mixed with substances and that had consequences:
"Men, so this scent, it has something! Strong herbaceous opening in the style of old leather scents! Generally old scents, because it starts tart, fresh and yet dark, if you know what I mean! Reminds me a lot of part of Doraphilia but not furry and trimmed to old in the style of Knize, Tabac Blond, this is strong! What do you think Hotte?"
"To me, this seems slightly floral, yet immediately smoky. But not a boring, monothematic incense but animalic underpinnings. Is that musk?"
"Yes, I think so. The longer you penetrate the more it smells like rough leather, but that has chthonic traits, that's how much you have to penetrate it olfactorically. Like a time-honored leather-herb brew of decades past. Totty?"
"Yes, this then comes across as increasingly leathery and rough, yet elegant within the first two hours, the bay leaf providing a bitter leg note and....."
*plonk*
"Right, quickly skins out though, doesn't it? Doesn't he? Men?"
Wool noticed that no one answered and looked around. The path in the park was paved with stalled beer trucks, the rockers lying next to them. "All full that fast? Et tu, brute? Uh, Ute, Ude, uh, you too, Udo? You're usually so hard drinking..."
Wolle wondered and noticed that the beer bottles were not emptied either. That made him wonder. "What's going on here?"
Suddenly, a figure detached itself from the shadows...stumbled, fell lengthwise into the mire, got back up. "Curtain up, the protagonist enters the scene! Hello Wool, so we meet again!"
"Klaus-Dieter! Is this your work? Do you screw harmless drunkards so easily? What are you up to?"
"I can answer that for you, Mr. Wollny! You're under arrest!"
"Commissioner....! What for?"
"Peeing in the wild."
"That's ridiculous and you can't prove it."
"You're peeing on my shoes right now."
"Oh...not enough target water today, wanted to hit the bushes...still no reason for an arrest!"
"We have ten years worth of video footage and I don't think I'm the only one wondering if you actually have sanitary facilities in the house. Take him away, men! And pull his pants up, it's not a pretty sight!"
"What smells so spicy with a soft leather note?"
"You, Pele. When you fell down, you took some neat oakmoss with you which is on your pants. But at least you're wearing one, doesn't necessarily run in the family."
It was true, the oakmoss was now present and dominated the olfactory entity (I feel reminded of Etruscan Water, which I have from wearing the previous day still well present but clearly mossier, but at the same time citrusy and underpinned with aldehydes).
So Wolle was taken away and imprisoned, his men put out of action, and a forged letter draped that said Wolle was relinquishing the presidency to Pelé. What would happen next? Dark times were dawning in Herne, symbolically it began to rain...well it rained often but was sad nonetheless.
Nimitr ends almost balsamic-spicy, the leathery notes, essentially created by the birch tar and juniper, retreat at the end. Here are then actually gentle vanilla hints plus pleasing tobacco noticeable.
Overall, it can be said that the limited Prin releases, especially the three of Parfum Prissana with this bottle are outstanding works. Certainly they resemble in nuances known Prin works, Nimitr smells with its animalic note quite like other creations - as far as this part is concerned, not in its entirety. It is amazing how well he can combine old, coarse leather with herbaceous notes as if this were a tribute to old fragrance milestones.
