Jammy rose with dates and pomegranate
Atlas Mountain, Morocco: women are picking roses by hand.
A sweet, very sweet rose.
Dates and pomegranate help emphasize this.
Initially there is also a hint of orange, but then the scene is all about the rose.
I also perceive a bit of incense breaking through the flowers, but just a little bit.
Not bad!

Dear Resin Rose
What is this, please? Apparently, the Prince made this fragrance, the Lomros?! The cool smoker, the beastly sweaty one, you know... But where are the animals, where is the smoke, and where, damn it, did he leave only the cumin??
Yes, and then he creates a rose scent. Why? Is he even allowed to do that?
He was probably blackmailed. By a crazy rose and prince fan
held captive, locked in a well-equipped lab, and forced to create. Until the rose scent was finished.

....Why are you looking at me like that?....;)

As a confessed rose lover and someone who has tested six or seven perfumes from Lomros, I was excited to discover "Vallée des Roses" and knew right away: Prince and roses - this can only go well.
The perfumes of this industrious perfumer, as exhausting and nearly unbearable as they may sometimes be, are never one thing: boring.
He has founded and maintains several brands. I particularly like the scents from his brand "Prissana." In fact, I almost only like those.
With the brand "Prissana," I believe I read that he wants to combine the style of Western classical perfumery with that of Asia, particularly Thailand.
The concept works. His fragrances become accessible to me through this "Westernization."
When wearing a Prissana scent - in measured doses - one smells attractive and pleasant, equally exotic, "foreign and exciting," like an adventure.
Now to the scent: The Lomros Prince is an excellent perfumer. He proves this once again here.
The rose is clearly at the center of the fragrance at the beginning. Present, rosy and flattering, yet pleasantly unpretentious. It is not sweet. Around the rose, fruity notes like date and orange subtly weave together with various resins and spices into an aromatic weave that plays around the rose without covering it.
Through the resins, the floral scent increasingly takes on a slightly waxy quality. Over the hours, a more and more rugged, spirited side of the rose reveals itself. Very delicately, I can also perceive bitter nuances time and again. They likely come from the copaiba balsam, which wonderfully connects fruity and floral notes in a bitter-balsamic way. The beautiful myrrh may also contribute a touch of "bitterness" alongside warm, resinous spiciness. The overall impression of the fragrance is calm and elegant despite many spices. Partly soft-warm floral, partly orangey, always spicy and resinous, the scent stimulates the senses anew, wafting around the nostrils.
The Prince Rose is an elegant, yes, distinguished unisex scent. In my perception, it tends to lean almost more towards a relaxed-masculine direction.
Not a smoky brute with an animalistic odor, strolling freshly-sweaty out of the hayloft... something different, indeed.;)
Also, regarding the sillage, this one, in contrast to other extremely projecting Prince scents, holds back rather elegantly. It is perceptible to others, but rather discreetly and only up close. The longevity is perfectly fine at about 5-6 hours.
The test in warmer temperatures is still pending. I could imagine that it unfolds even more beautifully and impressively then.

Sweet spicy humid bright rose with aromatic undertones as it dries. The pomegranate and date notes gives it a really distinct sweetness

Peculiar spicy-sweet opening with rose and dried fruit. Over time becomes more resinous and less enjoyable

Very strong, jammy, almost sweaty sweet rose. Very resinous as well. Too much for me, personally...

Perfectly jammy rose supported by woods, with resins becoming more apparently over time. A beautiful vineyard rose.

It's quite nice, as the roses are strongly embedded in citrus. There are also creamy-resinous and floral nuances, pleasant but not my thing.

Smells almost like a good, pure Taif oil. Its characteristic citrus is nicely balanced with a sweet-creamy undertone. A true rose paradise.

Floral-soapy! Prin, you can do better. The scent goes from floral-soapy to fruity-creamy. No. No. Not for me! H+S not great!

The sweet, playful lollipop rose. This is what happens when you neuter "Lava Rose." Not worthy of a prince. Such topics should...
