A Study in Darkness
This is my favorite Poesie scent. The dragons blood and ink swirled together create this brassy vintage vibe that instantly reminded me of another perfume I used to have: Tommi Sooni Eau de Sooni II. This one is very dark and oppressive, heavy.. like being smothered by black velvet that’s been soaked in ink in a dark room filed with clouds of dragon blood incense. Obedient Element was a bit challenging for me at first, honestly. Incredible silage and longevity. It is not for the faint of heart! if you want dark and melancholy, something recalling long gone times, then this is for you. it really does smell like how I imagine Frankensteins study would smell ... a whiff of tobacco , a puddle of ink spilt out onto the desk blotter and a mess of papers scattered across the top.
