Nod has inspired me with his blog today to write my giveaway entry about a fragrance that hasn’t received a comment yet.Besides, it would be silly to write a comment every day and not include natural fragrances.
From our hiking circle, I like the brand Providence the most. All the fragrances I have tested so far have surprised me. They impress with density, complexity, longevity, and body, are mostly far from the ordinary, and are in no way inferior to non-natural fragrances.
Mousseline Pêche is one of the most beautiful scents from the brand for me.
As Nod has already described excellently, I too cannot find my sensations in the fragrance pyramid or the previous statements.
In the opening, it smells to me like fruity liqueur with a few Christmas spices, and for a moment I wonder if there is licorice in it. Maybe not.
I do not perceive the citrus components of the fragrance pyramid separately, but they surely provide a counterpoint of lightness amidst all the warmth and depth that the scent radiates.
After a while, the peach takes on a coconut note for me and becomes dull-waxy, which I really like. The fruitiness fades increasingly, and the scent of candle wax becomes stronger. Is that due to maltol?
So there is definitely no vetiver in it. Or is there?
Morgaina smells of sparkling wine bubbles here, I do not. Oh no, there was something at the beginning, wasn’t there?
But I find Belles Rohrzucker and Fluxits caramel again. Although, the scent isn’t that sweet, is it?
Yatagan: round yes - unspectacular: no!
Mousseline Pêche fades out in this slightly sweet coconut-candle wax note, which gradually becomes weaker. Longevity and sillage are in the good midfield, and I find this scent innovative; I have not encountered this form of candle wax in a fragrance before.
