Heidanei, I'm going to die...this one is really bad (EDIT: 29.06.2024)
Sunday afternoon, it's raining and windy outside, everything here is dreary, my mood is in the basement, I'm totally depressed...and then this scent. Actually perfect to...oh let's skip that. The 2 Rancé is truly no mood lifter. This fragrance appeared sometime around 1997 and then disappeared again. Probably for good reason. I find the scent experience quite dreadful. My miniature is still almost full, but you kind of hope that the thing has just gone bad. It can't really be that nasty, can it? It would certainly be to its benefit...The longevity is okay at around 5-6 hours, but it becomes very close to the skin after just 2 hours. The sillage is correspondingly weak.

The top note smells very green and citrusy with bergamot, grapefruit, and pomelo. Caraway and a synthetic, rotten plum ruin the first, rather solid impression. The heart note remains green and grassy with aromas of matcha tea and leafy violet leaf. Galbanum underpins this impression with a fine balsamic note. The base continues to smell green, grassy but also earthy, woody, and subtly leathery with oak moss, cedarwood, and a hint of spicy nutmeg.

All of this together is a truly terrible combination for me. In the end, I would assign this unisex perfume more to the male gender - if anyone still dares to...

EDIT 29.06.2024: Now I've come across another miniature. Since this one is in the original packaging, there were probably few external influences, so I find the scent much more pleasant now. The top note smells less nasty and not rotten but rather citrusy and fresh.
