Such a beautiful bottle
Well, at least the title says something nice about the scent. Thank you, Daisy, I had the fragrance on my watchlist because the pyramid looks appealing to me. And now I can see for myself if I can hear the melody while reading the score. No, not this time, because Eau Empire presents itself to me quite differently than I expected.
First of all, the scent stings my nose quite a bit after spraying. I don't notice any gentle, tart green tea or grapefruit, but rather something like acetone or similar. At the same time, a strange spicy sweetness pushes forward, which, although it doesn't last, somehow feels out of place. I believe galbanum and nutmeg are not a very harmonious combination. The lily of the valley doesn't stand a chance against the two. I find the scent quite odd.
Well, the base is quite pleasant. It does take quite a while to make its presence known, but at least. However, it takes too long for me, and it's not worth it. So once again, I am warned to refrain from blind purchases based on pyramids.
