The Simplest Patchouli
All natural not fooled around Patchouli
it does not have the oily greasy synthetic
feel in most patchouli perfumes it's dry
and comfortable to your skin i just like
the way the Sandalwood opens strongly it mixes beautifully with the patchouli dries warmly with amber with milky note of benzoin and dries to an powder nuances of vanilla, Labdanum sweetish
in smell ends this fragrance with the patches of musk.

this is my favorite scent from the patchouli series not oily nor synthetic
just comfortable to wear

Discontinued before its time
Very closely related to two favorites of mine in the ambery-patch genre, namely the same brand's Inoubliable Elixir and the original Patchouli, only much lighter, woodier, and with a powdery incense quality that reminds of the coating on papiers d'armenie. The famous 1970s-style Reminiscence patchouli treatment is in ripe old form here, i.e., fallen autumn leaves rotting slowly and nobly into the sweet, honeyed voluptuousness of amber. But the texture deviates by being far less treacly and rich. Some air has been let into the room and it is all the better for it.

Sadly, I think this has been discontinued, which makes me wonder if Reminiscence missed a trick by not going the full hog with this and turning it into a summer cologne-style treatment of the original patch-amber accord, instead of tinkering only slightly with the model and ending up with a result that, in its failure to mark new territory, is clearly a child who has loudly declared their independence from its parents only to move into a house right next door (with Mum still doing the laundry).

I confess.......
How do I say this best? I confess that I have ignored you for over a year. Since you moved in with me last December, I think I’ve only sniffed you briefly once and then properly sorted you into the lineup of my other patchouli fragrances... and didn’t pay you any more attention.
The competition was simply too great, and even though you wear a really very cute dress, I gave you no consideration whatsoever.

In the summer, you were neatly rearranged with other, far too heavy scents for this time of year, and you were allowed to slumber for almost 5 months in a cool and pitch-dark place.

Last week, I then freed you from your dark prison and placed you visibly in front of my mirror. Forgive me, for I still haven’t given you any attention…………..

Now it gets really thick, I even had the thought in the back of my mind to sell you here in the souk without having smelled you again, and that is truly unforgivable of me, I confess, just the thought alone.

Then, the day before yesterday, a great turning point occurred for you, and I took you in my hand, looked at you, and thought I finally had to test you properly and…………………was completely blown away when your scent hit my nose.

What a delicate, wonderfully fragrant little patchouli scent you are, that has put a smile on my face. The combination with vanilla and the other fine ingredients (I consciously won’t dissect the perfume here, for me the overall impression of the scent counts) simply lifts my spirits, very good spirits!!!!

I am still a confessed patchouli lover, but I must tell you, you really dance completely out of line.

Nothing harsh, rough, earthy, or even grave-like, but super light, caressing, and delicate while still always being patchouli.
Your scent flutters like a little paradise bird or even a butterfly from bloom to bloom, leaving a wonderfully lightly scented trail behind.

Now I understand the design of the bottle; it couldn’t have turned out better.

Today, I let you on my neck, and my mood immediately lifted several degrees. Very advantageous for the meeting today ;)

I can only hope now that you will forgive my neglect, and I solemnly vow that I will never overlook you again!!! I wrote this spontaneously; I simply owed it to you!

It doesn’t always have to be those trendy, big, extravagant fragrances; even the small ones, which also save our budget, can leave really deep, unmistakable traces ;)

Eau de Weichei
Réminiscence has released a patchouli scent to entice us. That they can do differently has been proven with the Elixir, which has a bit more punch, but let’s focus on the Eau de Patchouli.
For those who have always had jitters about the earthy, musty cellar aroma, now is the time to pay attention.
This one does nothing. It just wants to play. We have a friendly patchouli here that doesn’t hurt or scorch the nostrils.
It is a soft, rounded scent with a powdery, vanillic base to entice and endear patchouli fragrances.
Eau de Patchouli is truly a mild representative, rather delicately patchouli, leaning towards Coromandel or L'Inspiratrice. C'est la Fête Patchouli would also be a scent in this category for me.
Well blended, also quite wearable for warmer days, as it doesn’t become earthy or tomb-like. For fans of the "real stinkers," it’s more of a fragrance that brings a gentle smile to the face.
I perceive it as a fine cuddly scent that has something comforting and warming about it.

"Summer Patchouli" or for someone who doesn't actually like Patchouli....
I am currently in a Patchouli testing frenzy...
I received a sample of this dreamily beautiful soft-powdery light Patchouli scent from the lovely FrauKirsche (thanks again for that).
It is just so fluffy *.*
Yes, it has Patchouli in the name, but honestly? I'm sure even those who can't handle Patchouli will like this one.
This one is unmistakably equipped with the Reminiscence Patch DNA, but it is so fine, cuddly, and rounded, not earthy or musty at all. Just a Patch for Patch refusers...

It starts off wonderfully with softened Patchouli and very tame Cedar... somehow dusted with vanilla powdered sugar. Fluffy-cloudy, tame, and very feminine.
For true Patch lovers, this one is probably not for them.
This one is not dark, earthy, musty, or mystical. This one is somehow a "summer" Patch.
Bright, lightly spicy, and cuddly soft in the base with vanilla-tonka and a bit of musk. Everything is very, very well balanced.
A real everyday Patch, office-friendly, cozy-sofa-like, feel-good...wonderfully pretty....
It is not a room-filler or particularly radiant, but I can smell it on me for a long time, very close to the skin, and yet it is constantly in my nose.

And as always when I really like something... how could it be any different... the scent is discontinued.
But I was lucky and managed to snag a bottle and now I am looking forward to cloud-soft Patch hours *.*

Patchouli light for patchouli doubters?
Patchouli as a summer scent?
Patchouli with a sunny disposition?
Yes. Rem can do that. Beautiful and with vanilla.

Buttery soft, cuddly gentle patchouli without cellar, earth, or grave. For patchouli softies.

Patchouli in such a bright form is almost more unpleasant to me than the honest earthiness of old-school hippie scents. Well done, but not for me.

Cuddly soft patchouli on equally cuddly soft resins, seasoned with fine wood and delicate vanilla. Quiet, beautiful, and cozy.
