Ce parfum j en ai toujours des bouteilles d avance car je l aime vraiment beaucoup.
Cela fait des années que je le porte, c est un mainstream mais il mérite sa place dans ma collection.
Un voile d anis se pose sur l amande amère,je suis déjà conquise c est absolument superbe et assez rare comme combo.
Le miel, la tonka arrivent pour se poser.de.maniere subtile.
J ai souvent du mal quand la tonka est trop sucrée et lourde ici elle est carrément allégée par l anis.
C est vraiment un parfum délicieux, qu on trouve pour une trentaine d euros pourquoi se priver d.un tel bijou

Wrong name

If you love honey, "Tonka" should go on your testlist. It's an extremely sweet, lush scent for everybody who adores the aroma of honey, anise, vanilla, almond and tonka, of course. I can't stand the strong honey note - this fragrance is a no-go for me. But as I said: If you are into honey, give it a try, it's much better than "Honey" by Marc Jacobs. "Tonka" might be okay for X-Mas and winter in general, but it is very monothematic and too much on the culinary/gourmandy side for me. I had to scrub it off as fast as possible.

The familiar tobacco-free style

The composition is very much in the style of Tobacco Vanille, but without tobacco. Reminiscence Tonka is a much fresher, lighter, more luminous scent. The clove stands out the most, sweetened by honey and later by the titular tonka with vanilla. There is also my beloved anise, which, although it does not hit the nose directly, adds a pleasant minty-spicy freshness to the opening.
The scent is generally sweet and festive, but it is not cloying and heavy, it has a lot of freshness and lightness. The parameters are rather average, but completely acceptable. The composition of Reminiscence is closer to Franck Boclet's Tobacco than to Tom Ford. Tonka is Tobacco without tobacco and with added honey and anise.
It's a pity that I only discovered this perfume now because it seems that it has been discontinued, and until recently it could be bought at a great price. There is no point in chasing a bottle at a much higher price because this fragrance profile is not original and you can easily find an equally good alternative with better longevity and projection. Nevertheless, the scent is very good.

A taste of honey

This typical fall-winter scent has two faces: charming and cocooning.I didn't smelled the bergamot at the top, but an intoxicating clove involved me in a spicy cloud.
Then, the noticeable honey and cistus heart arrived, with its cocooning character, sweet and warm. But the notes which last for a few hours are the tonka bean, the musk (very soft ) and a well balanced vanilla not at all sweetish .
This scent is like a cachemire scarf , soft and warm but also very charming and refined with its above -average sillage ,classy and dicrete but also charming.
The bottle is minimal but refined and the price is quite high , but if you're looking for "a taste of honey" (as the famous song) and for a moment or sweetness, you've found your scent!

Ambrosia - Nectar of the Gods

Tonka was a real surprise for me.
With a name like "Tonka," I actually expect a full-on Tonka experience... but that's definitely not the case here. You can smell the tonka bean, but in my opinion, that's not enough for the naming.
So how does the fragrance smell then?
It's actually quite simple.
Honey... Ambrosia - Nectar of the Gods!
More specifically, it smells like anise-honey. I love anise, I enjoy eating it and I absolutely love its scent. Anise is really special.
The honey is very thick, viscous but not overly sweet, rather full-bodied, wonderfully seasoned, slightly smoky, strongly spicy, warm, and creamy.
Tonka smells like a Christmas spice pudding with tonka-vanilla sauce, drizzled with anise-honey. DELICIOUS.
However, it actually starts off quite fresh, with bergamot being detectable only briefly.
I also perceive very light sprinkles of jasmine, but not prominently. Clove occasionally shines through, but not intrusively.
The fragrance has a wonderful progression and transforms into a slightly smoky scent after hours.
Those who love gourmands will definitely enjoy Tonka 100%.
The bottle is very pretty, in the latest edition without stars, with clear lines and a gently curved shape.
The price is steep and the longevity is fantastic, with sillage in my upper third.
This warm gourmand has captured my heart and will surely accompany me often in the autumn/winter.
