Oud Immortel Byredo 2010 Eau de Parfum

The limoncello note is absolutely delicious. Mixed with incense, patchouli, oud and papyrus is pushing the somewhat sweet opening into a very woody experience. Love at first sight.
Anytime, any season. Powerful start, lasts long on skin and projects well.
One of my most complimented perfumes.
Reminds me of Morning Chess.

Starts very woody and sorta hay like, with prominent incensy cardamom which later turns into smoky papyrus with very light oud nuances and mossy tobacco lurking somewhere underneath!

Nice fragrance that suits my skin very well during the spring time! One of the most wearable oud fragrances I ever tried..although not sure if the term oud should be used here because it's barely recognizable.

It asted around 4 hours on my skin with nice moderate sillage.

Ouverture fraîche et boisé, une impression d’agrume. La cardamome subtile, mais présente. Une forêt s’installe, une promenade parmi les arbres et la mousse. Le oud apparaît, mais C’est un oud inhabituel, travaillé sur la fraicheur, Ce qui le distingue des ouds sucrés ou animaliers. Cela permet d’obtenir une fragrance avec beaucoup de profondeur, mais en légèreté. Belle performance, surtout en été. Personnellement, L’une de mes fragrances préférés, elle est pratiquement addictive.

Este perfume está destinado a la gente que realmente no es amante del verdadero Oud.
Aquí puedes encontrar un Oud medicinal bastante fácil y agradable de llevar.
En algunas fases me ha recordado en un parte a la composición de aventus.
Perfume bastante versátil unisex y diría que para cualquier época del año.

Byredo doesn't list limoncello in the notes for this on their website and I don't smell it. It is a very dry papery type oud. I have been layering it with various D&G Light Blue flankers with a lot of success. It also layers well with some red fruity fragrances, giving them a little more depth. I didn't like it at first but I'm coming to really enjoy it.
