Too Rough for Me

With its juicy plum, soft peach, spices, and woody base, Femme seemed like it had everything to please me - on paper, at least. But on my skin, it’s a different story: the leather takes up far too much space, intensely animalic (the cumin probably plays a role in that too). A distinctly vintage feel only reinforces this impression, and I just can’t connect with it.

After several hours, the fragrance softens. The vanilla becomes more prominent, the plum turns warmer, and the whole composition becomes more pleasant. But it takes too long to reach that stage, and the wait doesn’t make me want to stick around.

A bold, characterful fragrance that will undoubtedly appeal to lovers of spicy chypres. It almost could have won me over, but in the end, it’s just too much for me.

A Gorgeous Spicy Peach

This opens very strong with bergamot which softens over time blending with the plum and peach. The rose and jasmine add a lovely softness to it. The cumin surprisingly adds the perfect amount of warmth and spice to it, I don't understand why some people compare it to body odour. The patchouli and oakmoss (I'm unsure if my version has real oakmoss) adds a beautiful earthy woody green base to it. The vanilla in this isn't always noticeable but when it is I love the depth that it gives. This fragrance is primarily a spicy warm boozy peach. I absolutely adore this.

Heady and boozy delight

Very ladylike. Warm and round but with an edge that gives it just the right kick to make it stand out. I don't wear it often. Mainly because I just forget about it. It is not one of the at the top of my head fragrances when I open my drawer chest to get inspired as to what to wear for the day or night. But each time I spray her on my skin, I realize that I actually like her more than I remembered from the last time I applied her. She is very heady and boozy on me and undeservingly forgotten by me way too often, and I intend to do something about it. I just hope I won't forget. :)
Okay, I realized once more than this is a frag I really, REALLY love. It needs a couple of hours to blossom into a real beauty, at least on me, but she is wonderful. I will give her way more attention from now on than in the past.
