Spring and Autumn together...
...with each other, in front of each other, after each other, over and under each other... in the same bottle. "How is THAT even possible??" some might wonder. "It's not that simple, but it is doable!" I would reply. The content of this composition from the venerable fragrance house Roger & Gallet proves it, from which I have already had the pleasure of discovering several beautiful scents.
As for "Spring," it is the distinct warm aroma of lemon and orange blossoms, like the first rays of sunshine after a gray winter. Summer is subtly present in the background, with some delicate flowers. Winter is also there, a cool, very fine musk note.
But Autumn is also fully present!
Represented by the spicy cardamom. The woody cedar connects the two "main seasons" through the bitter, somewhat resinous scents. Sometimes they lean more towards spring and form a liaison with the citrus fruits, sometimes they connect with the autumnal spice. You never know what will prevail next, especially since "Summer" and "Winter" occasionally sneak in for a short time! But they never take over, because Spring and Autumn are simply stronger here! :-))
