Spicy masculine
Attimo pour Homme is a fantastic blend of both fresh and spicy accords. I wish I could remember who recommended this fragrance to me, because I am very grateful to them for having made this perfume known to me.

Attimo pour Homme opens with lots of pepper and cardamom, freshened up with a zesty burst of mandarin orange. At this point, the fragrance is sharp and masculine. The scent also projects quite strongly.

I had hoped that Attimo pour Homme would be the perfect scent for my man, but in some ways it's a bit too serious and bold for his tastes. However, it's very much to my tastes. I love its 'in-your-face' nature.

Due to its rather strong sillage, I would apply Attimo pour Homme with a light hand, so as not to offend. The heart becomes quite fiery with the introduction of paprika and saffron. It's enough to set your nasal cavity on fire. But just like hot and spicy food, you'll either love it or hate it.

Surprisingly Attimo pour Homme remains fresh throughout its development, but never smells clean. Just spicy, peppery and tart. I must add that the longevity is superb, lasting almost a whole 12 hour day.

Some people mention a sweet accord in Attimo pour Homme, and while I do smell it myself, it's only very slight. I wouldn't call this a sweet masculine at all. Spicy sums it up perfectly.

Who Stole the Citrus Fruit?
I really have nothing to criticize about this scent. It's a crowd-pleaser that doesn’t clash, more suited for the warm days of the year. However, I had something different in mind based on the listed ingredients. Cardamom and black pepper as the main scent contributors? Where exactly? Okay, cardamom can have a slightly sour note, but I actually smell a concentrated burst of citrus freshness. I already have enough perfumes of this kind. I would also gladly keep Attimo, but others of similar quality came before it.

In terms of its basic tendency, it's really not far from Versace pour Homme, Bleu de Chanel, or Cerruti 1881 Acqua Forte... I just wonder where this citrus freshness comes from! The mandarin is usually found in sweeter refreshers, and otherwise, I see nothing that points in this direction. Which I find a pity, because isn’t a scent defined by its ingredients?! On the other hand, I've often experienced this: Something catches my attention while reading, "Yeah, mint," "Wow, water lily," "Strong, vetiver," "Cool, incense" ... and in the end, it was all nothing! ;-)

Not that we misunderstand each other. I like the scent, as I said, even though the H&S are rather mediocre, as is the case with all three Ferragamos I’ve tested so far. I believe this is a brand you can't go wrong with, but it also doesn’t have a real standout in its lineup for me. Now let's hope my nose isn't broken! ;-) Just think "citrusy-fresh" instead of "spicy-woody" and you'll be on a good level!

Spicy-Fresh Brother Lightfoot
A quite nice fragrance, somewhat in the style of "Bleu de Chanel," a bit lighter.

Opening: a mix of fresh and slightly spicy notes, light fresh mandarin, a hint of marjoram, and subtle pepper.

The sillage is rather moderate, little room presence, almost shallow.

The heart is oriental in a homeopathic measure, a bit of incense and sage, all very subtle.

In the base, a balsam-tinged musk. Overall, quite pleasant. Friendly yes, but all in all uninteresting. Little profile.

Rancid Maggi in overly salty and way too peppery chicken broth.

Subtle spicy freshness; a bit 08/15 - but miles better than the sugary and oud bombs that men's perfumery currently favors.

Quite an insignificant, fleeting scent and easily replaceable. Luckily, it doesn't make it into my memory.

Interchangeable fresh men's fragrance with a hint of spice.
There's a note that bothers me and reminds me of Fanta (yes, the drink).

Extremely alcoholic start followed by spices and a few resin notes. Smells rather unharmonious, thank goodness it fades away quickly.

It fades so quickly that it doesn't even reach the base... otherwise, a very brief nice top note, and then it feels like shower gel.
