Pomegranate Princess Skylar 2026

Love Leah and am a fan of a handful of Skylar scents, but this one isn't my jam - literally. Everyone raves about how it smells like a jammy, whipped, cake-like dessert, but I get none of the gourmand cake or vanilla described. To me, it smells like cough syrup if it were vaguely pomegranate-strawberry flavored. The fruitiness is not juicy or sweet, but instead bitter and medicinal. Unfortunate pass.

This is not in my usual fragrance preference category. It is beautiful, I tested it one day and couldn't take my nose off of it and went the next day to purchase the full bottle. It is not overly sweet, I think the tartness of the pomegranate with the cake balances it beautifully. It is truly a cake note, not vanilla. The strawberry is gently there and not synthetic smelling like other fragrances. This is my first purchase from Skylar.
