G'day Mate!
Aroon Sawat, good morning!
Yes, in Thai, the name of this perfume represents the wish for a good day.
Inspired by the Thai sunrise, the perfume in question is meant to be a source of good mood to face the day ahead.
Sweet and sour mango, passion fruit and a bit of tangerine.
Floral (yellow) nuances.
An amber base with a touch of incense and woody undertones.
Very simple, but well done: invigorating and joyful.
Remarkable performance considering the type of fragrance.

The Land of Gold
Aroon Sawat, translates as Good Morning in Thai. I've been saving up this scent for a long time. For Prin, it also symbolizes a piece of home. Golden and sweet-sour. Fresh and tangy. With his mango and grapefruit.

It just didn't suit me to the cold temperatures so far. The half-gray springs in Germany.

Today we get 30-39 degrees (celsius). It is almost a bit humid and therefore just the right moment for holiday longing on the skin.

Aroon Sawat starts with a blend of white, exotic flowers, golden mango and the light sourness of pomello and bergamot. It is fresh, juicy and fruity at the same time. Aroon Sawat is not sweet at all, but very real at the golden and slightly green chords of the fruits in the fragrance.

In addition to the portrait and rays of the golden land (Suvannaphumi), from which the fruits and inspiration for the fragrance comes, there is another, spiritual, level.

The smouldering sandalwood of the temples, the myrrh and also the incense represent a skilful counterpart to the golden morning and warm the heart deep under the fruits.

Well-dosed resinity and smoke can be found in the dance with the omnipresent scent of white flowers at the temples. United with the scent and taste of the fruits of the land.

The Golden Land.

Aroon Sawat, dear Prin!

My chemical romance
If I'd been dipping my toes into Strangers Parfumerie to test the waters and encountered Aroon Sawat first, I'd have turned 180º on my heels toute suite. Its clumsy mish-mash of woody ambers and big, syrupy fruit is bathed in a chemical radiance so powerful and all-reaching that my eyeballs hurt even to remember it now. It is a perfume whose finer points are wasted on me completely, obscured as they are by this big, thick gloppy blanket of amber-wood-syrup-resin-fruit aromachemicals. It's just atrocious. A crime against perfume.

Thank God I operate a 'three strikes and you're out' policy, because all the other Strangers Parfumerie perfume turned out to be either memorably quirky, or charming, or at least interesting enough to redeem the utter horror that was Aroon Sawat. In fact, in general, I liked the Strangers Parfumerie as much as, if not more than, the perfumes in the more upmarket (and more highly priced) Prissana line. The fact that they represent much better value for money is almost beside the point.

A Tribute to Thailand
I really like fresh, citrusy notes, but I usually find fruity ones rather difficult. Too often they are too sweet or even too synthetic for my taste. However, in Aroon Sawat, they are used in a pleasantly balanced way. I immediately associate the name with exotic and bright facets - and that is exactly what you get here.

Unlike Maggy4u, I would classify the scent as 'sweet', but not to the extreme that is unfortunately all too common; rather, I would describe it as a naturally fruity sweetness. It would be nearly impossible to filter out individual notes without having read them beforehand, as they blend together like a fruit salad and seamlessly transition into the floral notes. I primarily perceive white flowers, especially orange blossom. One classification I would not make is labeling it as 'fresh'. Because if you replace the word with 'refreshing', it definitely does not apply to Aroon Sawat, as the scent is already on the verge of becoming too cloying. However, this does not happen due to its overall very bright orientation. The only notes that provide a contrast are incense, myrrh, and sandalwood (I do not perceive amber in this way). It takes a while for these to become noticeable, but there is always a slight incense scent present, while the sandalwood only subtly emerges in the last hours, making Aroon Sawat a bit warmer.

In aesthetic judgments, perspective always plays an important role, and so this perfume appears to me as a successful combination of exotic notes; for Prince Lomros, the tribute to his homeland is probably just an interpretation of familiar scents. Therefore, I see Aroon Sawat as a fragrance that one wears for the mood and images it evokes.

A brief moment of joy. Sweet-creamy florals with a fruity pick-me-upper for a top note

Sweet fruity (mango) and citrusy opening. Floral powderiness (rose and tuberose), spices, smoke and an ambery and woody base. A bit cloying.

Initially juicy citric-fruity, a slightly smoky, yet fresh and clean powdery-floral fragrance, balanced by gentle spicy resinous-woody base.

On one hand, a very classic vibe (Bergamot - Rose / White Flowers / Iris - Sandalwood), on the other hand, modern reminiscences (Mango).

Floral-fruity print style. The scent was dabbed on. This makes it a bit more subtle. Classic foundation, rosy floral mix....

Strong floral scent with a bit of dirt on its hands. Quite pleasant, though not my style. Thank you PallasCC for the sample. ♥

Orange blossom and bergamot with tuberose. Quite friendly, not extraordinary. The myrrh makes it a bit sweeter...not for me.
