A Fragrance Journey to Paradise

Warm, woody/sweet and simply passionately beautiful. The Soft Paradise Perfume Oil is a discovery that I can no longer imagine my perfume collection without.
I have had the oil in my collection for a while now, but it really came into play only after I stumbled upon the "Casamorati - Bouquet Ideale (Eau de Parfum) | XerJoff." Combined, they leave such a dreamily beautiful scent that has completely captivated me and won't let go. It's no coincidence that this successful composition has become my new signature scent. Both are very similar, which is why Soft Paradise Perfume Oil is perfect for layering.
This oil can also be excellently used for perfumes like "Triumph of Bacchus (Eau de Parfum) | Argos," "Chapter - No. 3: Golden Decade (Eau de Parfum) | Zara," or "Shaghaf Oud / شغف عود (Eau de Parfum) | Swiss Arabian." New discoveries are sure to follow.
It can compete with anything in the spicy/sweet gourmand direction and significantly enhances the already above-average longevity. Especially suitable for autumn and winter, it is certainly also capable of elevating summer scents for both men and women into an elegant direction.

It supports sweet/woody, warm, oriental fragrances in their full development and creates something truly unique from it.

Intoxicatingly Delicious

I bought a discovery sample set in autumn 2023, with 6 different fragrances. All were, exceptionally, beautiful, but none like this one. I even had to close my eyes to enjoy the scent better.

Another one that is very popular is the Golden Dust Perfume Oil, everyone raves about it, supposedly a Dama Bianca dupe, whether intentionally or unintentionally. But I liked the Soft Paradise 100 times better. Eluei described it as "precious" and that fits perfectly! The application (with a pipette), the rich consistency, the scent, everything smells more niche than anything niche I have encountered so far.

I am quite frustrated with many fragrances nowadays because everything used to be better when it comes to scents. (Thanks to Ifra..) and I tend to reach for vintage fragrances, which still smell much richer, more substantial, and fuller than almost everything produced today. But these Sunnamusk oils are just incredibly well made. No biting alcohol, no cleaning product citrus, no barn-like oud, no overly sweet jasmine, no sour guaiac wood... oh I could go on forever like this but you get it now. I made a statement about the Soft Paradise Eau de Parfum back then because the oil was not listed.
However, one must be careful, you can quickly become nose-blind to fragrance oils. I applied 2 drops and was disappointed not to be able to perceive the scent after 4 hours. After a while, I walked back into the room where I had applied the scent and the whole room, if not the entire apartment, smelled like a paradise, intensely! (I surely did too, oopsie)

Part 1: Sunnamusk - Soft Paradise: the Warm-Spicy

Parfumo has taught me a lot - among other things, how genius woody fragrances can be.
Sunnamusk as a brand was completely unknown to me until recently.
In hindsight, I must say that getting to know it was a huge gain.
The quality and value for money would justify a lot of buzz here.

There are many fragrance oils in general, but none so far comes close to "Soft Paradise (Perfume Oil) | Sunnamusk." The initially very inconspicuous little bottle has a lot to offer.
Just a few drops on the wrist are enough, and a woody warmth spreads out.
Until now, I had often shied away from "woody" because it sounded rather harsh and masculine to me.
However, here I perceive a very feminine, warm, flattering blend of creamy woody notes paired with a slight sweetness and spices. Flowers also peek through here and there, although I find the jasmine more noticeable. The balsamic aspect of the fragrance cleverly plays into the spiciness and adds a wonderfully exciting dimension to the notes.

The oil fits any occasion, but in my opinion, it is also absolutely suitable for layering with Arabesque (I find it incredibly similar to that fragrance!), "Khamrah / خمرة | Lattafa / لطافة," or "Chapter - No. 3: Golden Decade (Eau de Parfum) | Zara," to name just a few examples.

In short: It fits into almost any collection in my opinion and is worth every penny!

A wonderfully oriental dream from 1001 Nights. The perfumes from Sunnamusk deserve much more attention, as the price-performance ratio is simply wonderful. The fragrance smells beautifully balanced, oriental/spicy with a hint of sweetness and sexiness. Anyone who likes scents like Shaghaf Oud will love this one. The perfume oil beneath the fragrance ensures longer longevity and great sillage. On its own, the oil is a bit weaker but beautifully close to the skin. Definitely a special scent with great quality.

Gentle Seduction

Where should I actually start?! This fragrance captivated me so much that I had to buy three oil vials right after testing it.
I came across the brand through a cousin who has the Golden Dust oil (also very beautiful, similar to Dama Bianca).
I wanted to test more and ordered the sample set. The affordable prices are absolutely top for the quality the brand delivers! Some of the scents I liked, others not so much, and this one has stuck in my mind.
I primarily detected floral notes, very elegant, opulent, and dreamily beautiful! When I read through the notes, the oriental character of the fragrance had already unfolded, and I sensed something that reminded me of another scent. It quickly became clear: Bouquet Idéale. I also found that one beautiful, but it was a bit too spicy for me back then. Soft Paradise, however, is by no means a dupe or anything like that. There is only a similarity. I perceive Soft Paradise as much more floral, feminine, less spicy, and thus somehow softer (fitting to the name). Upon reaching the base, I can confirm that almost all the notes come through in one way or another. I smell, alongside the clove and jasmine as the floral part, especially the nutmeg and the woody notes, all perfectly blended.
In terms of quality, it is an absolute beast; at least I can say that for the perfume oil. On clothing and scarves, it is even stronger and still detectable after many days! The scent radiates very well but is not suffocatingly intense or disturbing. For me, Soft Paradise manages to find the perfect middle ground between powerful and enchanting on one side and still pleasant on the other. The name is therefore truly successful. A gentle seduction, so to speak.
I had been searching for a oriental fragrance that works well as a signature scent and doesn’t require a specific occasion. With Soft Paradise, I seem to have found that. It also gives me the feeling that it suits me. I feel very comfortable and very "me" when I wear it. It has now become one of my absolute favorite orientals alongside Arabesque. Definitely worth trying!!
