Milder Version
.. of Alien Essence Absolue.
White Soul Gold & Diamonds smells quite similar to the well-known Alien Essence Absolue, but in a milder form. Nevertheless, the fragrance is headstrong and clings to the skin for an eternity. It can last as long as the Alien itself. However, it has a somewhat muted sillage and is noticeably more reserved. On the skin, it lasts for a whole day, not to mention on clothing.
The scent is characterized by an initial heaviness of flowers. Neroli is very prominent, while a thick layer of fruit has already rolled over it. Slowly but surely, a powdery note also comes into play, which pushes the floral heaviness into the background. The perfume quickly reaches its peak - the heart is enveloped by light notes of orange blossom, spread over a thick layer of vanilla. The fragrance has naturally wandered into the gourmand category and presents itself there as a special treat. A hint of animalistic notes can also be perceived, giving it something unique. However, this is clearly subdued, and there is no factor of disgust arising from it. This heart lingers in my perception for a long time, becoming very warm for a brief moment, but the warmth flees quickly, leaving behind a light haze of the senses. An oriental scent that draws you in quite a bit, yet remains very dignified and shy. The sweetness is tempered by the jasmine, and nothing seems to go awry here. The notes blend well together, with none taking a clear dominance. A solid perfume for little money. An oriental for a few euros that pays off quite well.
The scent fades only after a long day. It lays down its layer of vanilla and lets the fruits and flowers dissipate. What remains is a light layer of powder, subtly with an animalistic background.
It is not as heavy as the Alien, but for me, it is more pleasant to wear, as it doesn’t seem so stuffed. With everything and everyone. A solid oriental that deserves a solid 60%. There’s not much artistry behind it, but it’s perfect for home when you want to feel cozy.
The bottle is high-quality and heavy. It is easy to handle.
So, if someone is perhaps looking for a milder version of Alien E. A., they might just find it here.
