A very pretty rose/oud, uplifted by peaches
This neither reinvents the wheel, nor do I feel the urgent need to buy a bottle, but I still think it can keep up with many more expensive fragrances from this category. Maybe not with high-end masterpieces like Oud Satin Mood, but with most oud-infused designer scents, JHAG, the average Montale etc.
The main notes to my nose are rose, oud and saffron in about equal amounts. The opening leans a bit soapy, like a rose scented detergent or fabric softener, while the oud and saffron feel quite medicinal, without any dirty or animalic notes. I was afraid that it would turn out too harsh and sterile at first, but after a few moments, a warm and juicy peach saves the scent. The base notes add some life to it, too. Instead of pure vanilla I get more of an ambery scent here, but maybe it's just a vanilla and patch combination that makes me think that. Anyways, it warms up the scent and that's what's most important.
Overall I find it fitting to the name and bottle, it really is a lighter, brighter oud, more floral and not as dark and heavy as many others.
