on the edge of the usual din
The little ones who are not exactly "in", whose origins are not particularly spectacular and whose name is not a big one, are quite quickly seen as worthless, second-rate and put in the corner.
Why should you also say a word about them, if they do not shout loud and clear "here"?
This seems to me to be the case with "Sandalo del Kashmir e Vetiver".
The fragrances I have come across so far from the Tesori d'Oriente brand belong to a quiet but well-crafted family of fragrances that are comfortable to wear and therefore do not deserve to dawdle "off".
Here I meet a pleasant green tea infusion, tastefully perfumed with thin slices of ginger and some bergamot.
The longer this infusion lasts, the more aromatic it becomes - typical green tea! A bouquet of beautiful, nice looking garden roses, so completely without allures and just rosy and lovely in the fragrance, is a tasteful addition to this arrangement. Also some benzoic chunks were added to this fragrant still life.
This creates a prelude which, together with dark wood aroma (probably from common European deciduous trees and, according to my nose, not from the hardware store), sets the stage for the fragrances listed in the name.
The dark green of the earthy, always somewhat moist looking vetiver harmonizes well with the already full-bodied developed tea blend.
This creates the image of a fertile, fragrant deciduous forest soil that rustles and bounces slightly with every step; it is a pleasure to walk along it and simply enjoy nature.
The slightly animal glow of sandalwood and creamy patchouli scent completes a pleasant fragrance pleasure.
"Sandalo del Kashmir e Vetiver" is green and spicy, composed in a straightforward way without any fuss and absolutely wearable. Chauvinism or decadence, terms that already apply to many of the great fragrances that are at home here, are alien to this quite everyday scent being.
This scent seems to me more like a peacock hen in a herd of cartwheeling roosters.
As with the "Tesori d'Oriente" brand before, I meet a creation that should not be underestimated, as the simple presentation might suggest.
A quiet green spot of relaxation at the edge of the din should not be overlooked.
There is always a moment when just this simplicity is welcome!
