Knocked Oud!
When I put "Royal Oud dello Yemen" on my skin there was first an outbirst of something between very sweet fruit liqueur and a certain kind of artificial spiced jelly beans but in an anyhow acrid way. The air in my room was immediatly filled with that smell. My stomach was revolting and I had to sneeze many times, my nose was burning inside and red outside. My eyes were watering of it. Yuk!
I opened the window and the door, but the stink would not move out. Because it was permanently percolating the air from my skin.
No, I am not an allergical type.
A little bit later I could differ something like clove, vanillin, and al lot of artificial creamy chemicals.
No, there is not the faintest note of woody or even oud-notes.
Trying to remove it by washing was not really successful.
My propose: Ladies, put this can of "Royal Oud dello Yemen" into your handbag and use it only in case of emergency for self-defence. But be carefully, if you are going to get it into your eyes and nose you yourself might going to get knocked "oud" though there is not one molecule of Oud.
I just got the idea that the name of "Royal Oud dello Yemen" could have a different meaning?

Intoxicating oriental charm at about 4euros!
I have to do a preface: I am a fan and a "serial collector" of the fragrances "Tesori d'oriente". here in Italy where i live they are sold at about 4euros or maybe less when they are on sale.
This scent , although quite synthetic (but do really exist nowadays any fragrances made only with natural ingredients?) is surprisingly powerful and intoxicating. The perfect fragrance for the cold season whenever you want to mark your passage and wear a scent having a strong sillage and a very good longevity.
It is meant as unisex fragrance, so the notes are quite strong and deep: the flowery-citrusy opening note is immediately made smoky and intriguing by the frankincense, giving a "sacred" character to this aromatic perfume.
Then, the heart notes arrive to your nose, strong and intoxicating involving you in a very charming oriental cloud : the clove and the benzoin , reminding middle eastern landscapes, encounter the fruity notes of the peach for an unusual heart accord. Finally, the base: a very deep oud made softer by a talcum note and smoother by a touch of honey and a warm amber, not at all "medicinal". The Golden bottle is very simple and minimal but mind that it's very smart and useful to be kept in the bag for a spray in every moment of the day. What else for a so small price?

If it were a Kurkdjian, the fragrance would be about 80%
how much are we influenced by price and name?

In my opinion, the Royal Oud dello Yemen is not a bad fragrance. The floral notes create a quite pleasant, creamy nuance with spices and amber that reminds me of cosmetics. The oud here is also buttery soft and creamy. You can most closely compare this fragrance to the classic oud from Kurkdjian, which also has that soft, creamy quality. The Kurkdjian probably still feels a bit more high-end; I don't remember it exactly. But if you like such fragrances, a comparison could be worthwhile.

A Low-Priced Stepchild?
Admittedly: I was initially skeptical too. One tends - whether one likes it or not - to categorize such an inexpensive perfume into the inferior drawer.

Right from the start: The scent does not deserve that! After spraying it on, I feel transported to an oriental flower garden. I am enveloped by various blossoms, with rose and jasmine being the most prominent to me. Lotus could be part of it too; unfortunately, my nose cannot decipher this lush bouquet. Thanks to the spices, the scent never becomes too sweet or girlishly floral, but rather comes across as very mature.
Amber is only a light addition, but the oud pushes its way through from the very beginning among the flowers, adding an interesting, unusual, and almost tar-like note. A great progression is not noticeable; from the start, it’s a case of What you smell is what you get. That may not be particularly sophisticated; nevertheless, I still like it.

The bottle... visually it appears quite valuable as long as you don’t touch it and feel the thin metal. The sillage is decent, and the longevity on my skin is about 5-6 hours. At this price, one can afford to reapply.

All in all, a nice spicy oriental with a few interesting facets that certainly deserves more attention.

Cherry/Strawberry Lollipop
And once again, a Tesori fragrance here. It's great to occasionally receive some samples from this brand. At first, I was a bit skeptical since this brand belongs to the "cheap fragrances," meaning they are available for very little money. However, I soon found that most of the ones I tested smelled quite good. So it was only a matter of time before I came across a scent that smelled rather average. But this fragrance here isn't really bad either.

The scent:
The fragrance starts off sweetly floral. For a brief moment, the top note smells deliciously like those cherry lollipops or those strawberry candies in white shell casings that you used to get at kiosks as a child. I think it could have stayed that way, as the top note really smells great and tasty (but also a bit girly).
Then come some unspecified floral notes. I suspect these smell like roses, perhaps a bit dusty. Additionally, Oud seems to be working in the background, but it doesn't really come through yet, and to be honest, the Oud smells a bit musty.
But then the sweet notes take over again with a fruity floral aspect, and the Oud almost completely disappears into the base.

Longevity and sillage:
The longevity is six to eight hours.
The sillage is normal, neither strong nor weak, and will be noticeable to those nearby. One shouldn't expect too much.

The bottle:
Typical for Tesori, the fragrance is housed in a deodorant-like aluminum bottle. The color is bronze/gold with nice black embellishments. As always, quite nicely done.

This fragrance from Tesori is not among the best of this brand, but it could be quite usable if you're just looking for some variety and enjoy floral, fruity, and sweet notes. The name "Royal Oud" might be misleading, as you only perceive the Oud briefly, and that note quickly fades away.

I would recommend the fragrance more for younger girls who don't have many expectations when it comes to scents and just want to smell sweet, possibly as a gift/souvenir.

But even if you want to use it yourself, well, why not. The fragrances are not expensive anyway, so you can't go too wrong. For me, the scent is rather inconsequential, and therefore I remain at 50%.

Big Red - cinnamon gum as a scent. Sweet, fruity-spicy with lots of cinnamon and honey. But that's not bad :-)

Dissonant and strongly synthetic cacophony of notes: powdery, spicy, fruity, slightly smoky, hardly any Oud, hardly any Oriental: what's the point.

Nothing reminds me of Oud, yet this cherry-honey blend with cinnamon makes a good impression. Really not bad.

Smells like Cherry Coke with a splash of cream soda, underlined by 80s sunscreen. Unexpected, but not bad.

The first Oud I actually like, and it's super affordable too. Light and pleasant, no sharpness or wrinkling of the nose. Warm honey.

First synth-musty, then very spicy-clove-synth. Cherry, floral-fruity-vanilla, synth. Amber-creamy, nice-herb-spicy for little money.

Frankincense, cloves, and oud can be such a great combo like here, when they have a feminine touch.
