Joie de vivre in a bottle
A new catch for this summer: Arancia Brasile from the Accordi di Profumi range from the Italian house of The Merchant of Venice. This brand from Venice is better known for these great bottles from the other ranges, such as Arabesque or the great Andalusian Soul, which I really like and enjoy wearing. This Accordi di Profumi range includes many fragrances, mainly fresh fragrances. Many of the themes already seem exciting and I will probably still be testing them, at least some of them.
Officially, it is an eau de parfum, as it says at the bottom of the bottle. Anyone who thinks that this fragrance will perform well will of course be disappointed after wearing it for the first time. I didn't buy this fragrance to last for many hours. These extremely authentic fruit fragrances simply don't last long, even with other brands. Orange Sanguine is a little better, but such fragrances are more for that short summer freshness kick anyway. For people who have little to do with perfume, this is more of a flop due to its miserable performance, but for perfume lovers with experience it is a great treat for in between.
The 30ml are perfect for the bag or to take with you for this freshness kick. 30ml is the only size that regularly costs around 60€. It's not worth that price in my opinion, but you can get it for around 35€. The bottle is rather cheap, at least in appearance. Otherwise, it is well made and fulfills its purpose. The box is also rather plain, in contrast to the other ranges.
The fragrance is quite simple and fruity. I like authentic fruity fragrances like Orange Sanguine or Arancia di Capri. The scent is of course very one-dimensional in the direction of authentic orange. This fragrance smells as if you had picked up an orange and smelled the peel. A wonderfully juicy orange that simply makes you happy and brings back the joy of life for a moment. It is named after the Brazilian orange. Probably more marketing, but this orange smells quite ordinary but good as usual. In addition to the orange, there are also citrus fruits in the pyramid. This fragrance already smells very fruity and also a little citrusy and tangy and also slightly tart. A great juicy-fruity sweetness that is 0.0 synthetic.
Performance is of course not good. it lasts for 1-2 hours, after which it is completely gone. That's just the way fruity fragrances are, especially as they don't contain any wood or anything similar. Fruits and citrus are usually only suitable as top notes. Nevertheless, this fragrance is great for a fresh kick with sunny, happy vibes.
All in all, this fragrance is worthwhile for fans of authentic orange. For around €35, a nice gimmick for the summer.
